In last two weeks Following dealers were willing for 8Lac upward discount on High AT
NCR - Galaxy Toyota Delhi, 36 Toyota Faridabad
Rajasthan- almost all whomsoever i contacted
Gujrat - same
Maharashtra- same

One advice - since you are from Gurgaon- kindly vis galaxy Delhi or 36 Faridabad. Gurgaon dealers you may skip

Seeing the numbers they're doing for the Hilux, I will be surprised if they bring in the updated product to the Indian market.

They will have to if Toyota India plans to continue to sell Hilux. For India, Hilux is CKD and either Toyota will have to stop selling Hilux in India or offer updated one.

I know. I was suggesting that they might pull the plug on the Hilux in India. So anyone looking to get their hands on a Hilux, now might be a good time.

Re: Toyota Hilux Review

Recently I switched from Mahindra Thar to Toyota Hilux (I will post a separate thread for my ownership experience from Thar to Hilux).

I bought the beast from my home town (Lucknow) and became the proud owner on 28th December 2023.

The beast costed me on road (UP32 Registration) for Rs 30.80 Lakh (Got a discount of Rs 12.6 Lakh).

I had a word with the sales person last week and he told me that if anyone interested he can still get a discount of 10-11 Lakh.

Dealer: Sunny Toyota, Lucknow.

Eagerly waiting for this. Being a Thar owner myself, and the discounts going around on the mighty Hilux, it would be interesting to know your point of view on this upgrade and its practicality.

The opposite is India. You are overwhelmingly handed a “Feel Bad Factor” whether you are buying 100 rupees item or of 10 lakhs.
There is no professional ethics, your “guilt” of spending a large amount on the vehicle is thoroughly misused by putting you under further expense.
Then there is the point of delay. People don’t have any respect of the time of the customer.
All this after the money has parted from your hands and it’s credited in their accounts.
I am not sure if any law can change this. An overhaul of moral compass needs to happen. For that people must not be 24/7 worrying about future of themselves, family and income. That is a very idealistic scenario in which every one is content and not greedy for more.
Since uncertainty in future people lower their standards. To levels it becomes extremely shameless of them to deal with.
I fully relate to your experience and I just want to tell you. Forget it and enjoy your ride.

Hi @corneliu

Earlier you posted that you got underbody kit from Bluegarage.in.
