There is a company called FE Retrofit which has a product line called Octo-Q. They seem to be the best bet for the reflector based LED lights.

Alternatively there are twin driving bars which are smaller 8 inch unties that goes on either side of the ADAS radar. They offer a flush fit and look good.

Re: 2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line Review

Bought my white dual tone N10 on 4th September. The black interior feels really good and so does the white exterior. Few missing items include lack of Wireless Android Auto/Carplay, No auto wipers and no dashcam. Added the dashcam at the dealer side. Will look for a dongle for converting Wired AA to wireless.

Does anyone know how to open the boot from inside the car? Every time I visit a hotel or mall, security guys want to check the boot and it is embarrassing not knowing how to open it from inside. Is there some button i am missing?

Congrats for the new car! The dual tone really does look cool. To open the boot you just need to unlock the doors. If the car’s running, it will unlock the boot and the guards will be able to open it from the outside.

I am planning to book Creta Nline N10 DCT. Unfortunately, all four dealerships here do not have blue or shadow grey options in display or service where I can go and check. Only white and black are available.

I am leaning towards shadow grey but would request the help of members here to confirm if shadow grey looks as good as claimed in some of the reviews.

If you have seen the color yourself, what is your preference for the color
Shadow Grey, Blue, or the standard White and Black? I know it is subjective, but as I cannot access these, I am seeking help from other forum members.

I would appreciate your input.

EDIT / UPDATE

I have just confirmed booking of Shadow Grey + Abyss Black without looking personally. Hope I will not regret that compared to Atlas White.

@vkhandelwal - Congratulations on booking your new car!

The Shadow Grey paint in dual tone looks absolutely stunning on the N line. Here are couple of pictures that we took a few months ago. This would have been our default choice as well.

Congratulations on booking your new car. The shadow grey looks absolutely stunning. I personally would love if all 4 discs were in red, instead of the front two.

I looked at all 4 colours extensively. Infact, the test drive car was Shadow grey and we (my entire family) were able to view it in all kinds of lighting conditions, like shaded areas, direct sunlight etc While it did look nice in sunlight, we felt it was a tad too dark for our taste in the shaded areas. Although in photos and videos, the grey looks like BMW light grey, the shadow grey is atleast 2 shares darker. Apparently, BMW (and other brands) have patent on specific colour shades so the same colour shade cannot be used by other brands!

I have 3 black cars in my garage so i am dreading dark colours. Its a nightmare to keep clean. So opted for White dual tone. I suggest you check out Venue N line in the same Shadow grey to asses if a Creta is unavailable.

Thanks. My Abarth Punto has a dedicated button inside the car for opening the boot. I guess thats an exception. I was looking for a similar button inside the Creta also!

Thanks! If you are referring to calliper, these are red for all wheels.

Re: 2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line Review

Hello Everyone

Can you guys please post reviews of the Creta N line with regard to Handling and Driving Dynamics when compared to Kushaq or Taigun?

Also is there any change in mechanicals or suspension set up from the regular Creta?

Hi I picked one up N10, 20 days back and post review of the VW twins and the Maruti/Toyota twins my justifications on the choice.

VW is dated compared to the Korean alternate while the driving dynamics are almost similar. While the 5-star is an assurance of the change being projected in the subframe for the Creta, I hope for a better security score along with the added safety features.

While I have not put in a lot of Kms but do find it very drive able and well planted. I am a bit edgy on the 18 inch wheels given our road conditions. Hope to update more in the coming days.

Re: 2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line Review

Hi
I test drove the N line in May and found the steering to be different from the normal Creta in a way that it had some weight along with some feedback which I guess might be because of 18 inch wheels. According to the Youtube influencers this is primarily because of increase in rim size. I am wondering if such a small thing can contribute to change in driving dynamics of the car.

Regarding the German cars they are definitely outdated but in this age of technology one expects more bells and whistles from a car that almost costs the same.
In my opinion the Creta N line is the best bet in terms of Practicality.

Re: 2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line Review

I have not driven the Taigun, but we do have a Tiguan which recently replaced an Octavia in our house. We also have a Creta N Line in the family. Despite the company, the Creta has become very popular in our house.

The car drives well, the engine is quite responsive and the cabin is impressively silent. In terms of outright driving dynamics, I find the Creta to be quite competent. It is a big step up from erstwhile Hyundai's and the elements of a fast engine, competent transmission, good quality interiors, top notch instrumentation all come together to make a very appreciable package.

I do want to call out the steering of the Creta N Line. I would place it in between the Octavia and the Tiguan (which I find too free off centre). The steering is well weighed, responds well to small off centre movements and is quite precise in normal and sports mode. I !m quite comfortable considering the Creta on par with the Tiguan for Highway drives and that's a high bar considering that the Tiguan is an extremely competent performer in its own right.

Finally, the vehicle returns 12-13 Kmpl in the city and pushes upto 17-18 on the highway much more sensible than the Tiguan returns 5-6 in the city and 12 in the Highway.

Re: 2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line Review

The damn thing handles like a German. No less. Hyundai have really cracked it. Not that they couldnt given their history of WRC wins.

But getting it right for a regular SUV needs a lot of optimization and Hyundai have got it spot on.

Straight line stability is good, quick lane changes don’t faze the car and the brakes have more than enough stopping power. To put it in perspective, it’s better than the Taigun and the Kushaq from a handling and straight line stability perspective.

Cant seem to find fault with the car except for maybe the boy racer spoiler and rear diffuser, a sun roof thats useless and the unavoidable digital dashboard.

At the top of its game though the N Line can be a handful but that is true of any German. Then there is a bit of turbo lag, but that is there with every turbo, it’s manageable here though.

But with all of that I’m nitpicking.

This car is right up there with the Germans. And better than quite a few of them too.

Couple of good comparison videos

Personally I have found Taigun to be a better handler, more stable at higher speeds and more fun to drive. But please take back to back test drives and decide for yourself. Also Taigun and Kushaq will have a replacement soon, so no point going for it now, unless you are getting a great discount.

Re: 2024 Hyundai Creta N-Line Review

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market looking for an upgrade from a very satisfying Baleno alpha 2017. I had the Creta NLine in my mind since it's launch. I did my share of test drive sometime back but there are some features that I missed to checkout and I would hate to make another trip that ensues the dreaded follow up calls everyday.

Footwell Lamp: Does it come with an OEM footwell lamp?

Puddle Lamp: Is there a provision for puddle lamp under the door? The ORVM-mounted ones, I feel, could cast shadow of the door.

Boot Net: Does it have slots for an aftermarket boot net like the older models?

USB Port: Is there a USB port near the IRVM in the N10 for a dashcam, like the thoughtful MG cars have?

Any insights from current owners or those who've recently checked it out would be really helpful!

Thanks!
