Rumors are true. This AX5 3XO has black plastics in door sill & dicky.

If I've to pick up between these 2, my pick will be the 3XO.
The AX5L model will be much more VFM when compared to the Brezza ZXi, with 6 airbags, 3 headrests at the back, Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, 360 camera, electronic parking brake, auto hold, dual zone AC, Front parking sensors available as accessory, though with a single pane sunroof and fabric seat covers.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Guys,

I have made my booking for the 3XO today. Got delayed because I was thinking of XUV 7oo. Took few days to clear my mind and made economical decision to book the AX5L TGDI Automatic in Deep Forest / Nebula Blue.

I have been told that there will be 26 to 30 weeks delivery time. Wanted to know is there a possibility to get the vehicle earlier.

For the accessories I have not yet decided but few basics like floor mats, mud guard, screen protector I will get.

Also do the Infotainment system has place for SD card as like XUV 7oo? I do not see any mention in the accessory catalog for 3XO.

Did not noticed this in the Showroom, but what a relief. I want the door pads to be reversed in color choice. As too much white tough is looking airy, roomy and fresh will get dirty in few days.

But thanks that the sills are now black.

which makes me believe that Mahindra and its dealers make more money out of MX3 pro than the AX5/L variants.

This becomes even more clear when you call dealerships to ask which variant is available for immediate delivery every single one of them say MX3 pro is in stock and ready be delivered, be it tier1 city or tier2, MX3 pro excessively produced and waiting at stockyard of most dealers and hence they are pushing this variant.
I totally get this and feel the same way, Similar safety features in XUV 7oo cost us 30 lakhs. So basically AX5L is VFM model. This implies Mahindra makes less money on it compared to other models. The no frills model is also easier to build.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

I'll be taking the delivery of my 3X0 AX5 tomorrow after waiting for more than 2 months post-booking. The SA insists on getting the Extended Warranty as I haven't paid for it yet. He says now it is for 15000 but if you take it later, it'll cost around 22000. I want to know if it is worth it or not.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new member here, and I wanted to share my experience with Mahindra and Unnati Motors regarding the delivery of my XUV3XO AX5L petrol. I booked the car on June 13th, and it's been over three months now, but I still haven't received any update on the delivery.

My experience with Unnati Motors has been quite disappointing. When I first visited the dealership, they tried to sell me a test drive vehicle that had already driven 307 kilometers. The car had a loud rattling noise coming from the engine, which the sales person casually brushed off as a normal thing for Mahindra vehicles. However, I had watched several XUV3XO review videos on YouTube, and I knew that this wasn't normal.

The sales person then told me that someone had been sent to Nashik to get the car, which only added to my confusion. The chassis number suggested that the car was manufactured in May, but the sales person insisted that production had just started, even though it was already July. Moreover, the tire manufacturing label showed that the tires were produced in April (1624), and there was noticeable discoloration on the tire edges. This made me suspect that the car might have been used as a test-drive vehicle.

Given all these inconsistencies and the lack of transparency from the sales team, I had no choice but to refuse the vehicle. I love the XUV3XO, but this whole experience has made me question the quality of after-sales support I can expect from Mahindra.

It's been three months since I booked the car, and the dealership still seems to have no clue about the delivery. To make matters worse, my sales person has stopped answering my calls for the past couple of weeks. It's really frustrating, and it feels like they are testing the patience of their customers.

I wanted to know if anyone else who has booked an XUV3XO from Unnati Motors is facing a similar issue. I would appreciate any information or advice from fellow members.

I also had a similar thought of not taking the extended warranty (not yet received the car), but one of the BHPian advised to take it now, it's good to take it now at the price you know rather than paying a possible higher amount later

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

I am interested in the AMT version of AX5 diesel mainly due to my sedate driving style and penchant for long drives.

Any information regarding the manufacturer of the AMT transmission system? Some channel was mentioning that it was an in-house R&D effort by M&M. Can anyone confirm? Thanks in advance.

From what I know, extended warranty for 1 more year, or till 1,20,000km, is for ₹15k, while that for 2 more years, or till 1,50,000km is for around ₹22k.

The regular warranty is for 3 years, or till 1,00,000 km.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Hi everyone,

My father-in-law is looking for a new car and he is considering Maruti Fronx - 1.0L Turbo engine AT, Alpha and the Maruti Brezza ZXi or Zxi+ AT - all petrol.

I bought XUV700 a couple of years back and so I just thought of checking what Mahindra has to offer and came across the XUV 3X0. Just started researching today actually. So, any suggestions/comparisons between these cars or any other car that is recommend in the 14-18 lakhs range?

Also, he is not going to really use it as a self-driven car, it will be chauffeur-driven, so I'm wondering if the turbo-charged engine or even AT are really required. Usage is just within the city and like single digit kms on a daily basis, with the occasional 300-400 kms highway drive once in 3 months. So, maybe would consider the MT versions too and naturally aspirated petrol ones.

If comfort is the primary factor, if the car is going to be chauffeur driven and your father in law would be seated in the rear seat, then may I suggest you and your father in law to take a test drive of Citroen Basalt. It has the best comfort in rear seat than any other car in its segment or even higher segment.

The Naturally aspirated engine comes only in lower / base "You" variant and the top "Max" variant comes only with Turbo petrol engine..

I am suggesting you to take a test drive of Basalt as everyone who has test driven it and sat in rear seat are totally blown away by its degree of comfort.. And it's within your budget. Ofcourse there are other concerns such as build quality, features, service network, resale value etc. However this car has unmatched rear seat comfort as per feedback and reviews. Do check it out.

Should checkout honda city or honda elevate. just decide sitting position in back seat.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Hi Everyone,

I booked the 3XO's AX5L AT variant in the nebula blue colour from Unnati Mahindra in Kharadi Pune, still waiting on an update on possible delivery dates. The SA is suggesting I go for Mahindra Finance to get my car early. I'm not familiar with car loans, so is the RoI of 8.99% good? Also there are no prepayment charges if done so after 18 months into the loan. It would be super helpful if anyone could share their experience with Mahindra Finance.

Thanks!

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Just an update for any AX7/AX7L owners here, a software update is available now which enables Android Auto. Still no Apple Car Play though, even in this update.

I got the update installed yesterday. It worked fine.

This morning I switched-on the car ,and the display was black, totally blank, both on the Infotainment Screen and on the Instrument Cluster.
I had switched-on the car directly by pressing the clutch and the Engine-On button; one can also first switch-on only the displays, and not the engine, by only pressing the Engine-On button without pressing the clutch pedal; I had not done that. Maybe that caused this issue ? I'm not sure.

Did a quick google search which suggested clearing the Dalvik cache, however since both my displays were blank I could not do that.

So I just switched off the car completely, locked it, and let it sit like that for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes I unlocked the car, and switched-on only the displays, by pressing the Engine-On button without pressing the clutch pedal. Both displays worked normally this time. I proceeded to clear the Dalvik Cache (accessible by pressing settings button 8 times and then usb debugging options).

System has worked fine for a 200km drive after that.

Will post more updates if the same problem happens again.
