Mama *Mia.. Mustang!!!

Ok guys

I was coming back to office after my Lancer test this afternoon. After lunch, I was passing Santacruz and the gargage lane when my eyes saw a blue Skyline parked at a garage. So I parked my car and checked it out. It was a Skyline GT. But now comes the best part... next to it was a blue 1967 Mustang parked which belonged to the garage owner . Hes a young chap so we got talking . He showed me his work . Hes into restoration of cars and he also works on getting more performance from stock cars. He showed me his data logger which was very techy .. I was amazed

After our talk he took me for a spin in the Mustang. And what a spin it was. The 2.8 V6 was absolutely mind blowing and music to the ears. I called GTO during my ride so he can vouch for it. He went absolutely mad. I bet he must be jumping where ever he was sitting.. got a few @#$%% from him

I told him about team-bhp and hes invited us to his garage for a little talk on what his work is and how he goes bout doing it.

After my awesome ride I took some pictures which I'm posting now. Hope you guys likem em

Cheers

Dippy

I am truly speechless...The early mustangs were not just a piece of beauty, they are automotive art. I dont know why, but somehow exotics look much better on Indian roads than overseas...probably because they are so much more exclusive out here.

Yes Dippy called me when the guy was REVVING the mustang, the sound effects were just unbelievable! It cant be mistaken for anything but PURE AMERICAN MUSCLE! Dippy you are one lucky guy...riding a Lancer 1.8 and a Mustang on a weekday.

BTW I dont think he is being accurate by telling you that it is a 1967 mustang. The body style looks from an earlier vintage. Also as far as I know, the three fins you see (above the mustang emblem on the front fender - In the first picture) did not feature on the 67 series.

Anyways it absolutely rocks. I have heard of Team Motor Works and their work is apparently really good...expensive..but really good.

Dippy,

The cars value has just gone up some $$$. Since its a '64, its also the first year that the Mustang came into being...launched by no other than the genius Lee Iacocca himself!

These wheels look better than the current ones. The guy told me that they were too heavy for the suspensios, so he got them changed. And he's changed his mind about sellin the Mustang.

Yes V12 Youre right

Hes changed his mind bout selling the Mustang and what he told you bout the suspension things is also true. He told me hes gonna spruce up the car more now. Me and Rohin took another ride in it the other day
