The "Amby" taillights are originals. But only with the round cone amber and red lenses. The red lens had a concentric reflector.

My greatuncle in Trichinopoly used to have a Landmaster Traveller. He contributed to the Trichinopoly Mills in Ramjeenagar, Tiruchirapalli, TN.

The Traveller versions of the Landmaster released after the Ambassador car, and the Amby tail-lights were originals.

I distinctly remember the crease in the roof from left "B" pillar to right "B" pillar.

It was also the era when HM was Hindusthan Motors (Sanskrit version) and not Hindustan Motors (Urdu derived).

These are really few and far between. Ive never seen one, I had only seen pictures of the south car which is now in Delhi, MEV 5402 which used to be black or dark green, and is now cream. I also came across these on a flickr album.
The car i told is this one KRT.New colour is same as we can see in the picture.

the green TRAVELLER is a different car .It is TN registered
and the owner is based in KANYAKUMARI District and comes to Trivandrum frequently.according to my info, he has got the original owners manual which came with the car ,Workshop manual and also some original NOS spares
my friend was very dejected when the owner refused his offer (which he believes was a reasonable one) for the car .He was too fascinated by this WOODY !!!!!!!

Ram
Seems that it was also the era when they were confident enough to say "quality first"...

DKG if you go to Afzulgunj you can see a light green-ish one owned by one of the shopkeepers. Its parked in a lane there next to a tuning/lathe works shop (forgot the name though, sorry!)

It may be my failing eyesight, or something to do with the sense of perspective, but this Travellers body seems to be folding up in the middle to me (at the B-Pillar)!
