These old ones are very nice.Whether all this is for sale or for scrap.
These cars look very neat and ready for use kind, I think all they need is a proper washing, oil change and they would say "Let's Go!!". I guess they are for sale and I wish, hope they all get good homes.

I was told that these may be auctioned in a lot. They have more such cars and jeeps.
The front CAP (shield above the glass beeding) is great. My Uncle is having the same cap for his Ambassador.I will soon post that car pictures.
Please suggest some period look colors other than black or white for my 1968 Mark 2 and 1972 mark 3 car.

1968 Mark II is Ok but please check whether the 1972 car is a Mark II ? The Mark 3 came along sometime in June 1975.
For the 1968 car I can also suggest the original shades like Almond (rather smoky white- a very common colour),Light Sky Blue,Dark green, Dark blue, Maize and Pastel Green which were all quite common.
List of colors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(please check alphabetically, the named shades on this link)

Dog and Cow bhagana is great stuff.
There is a chrome ring for 'Aadmi Bhagana'

Great pictures...My favorite Amby model.
An advert of the early Mark 4. Please check the wiper position (Mark 3 type) and the one posted in the picture (Mark 4 type). Did the early ones came with Mark 3 taillights? Also the 3rd dash picture has an incorrect speedo. |
Early Mark4 had the same mark3 speedometer console. Subsequently a Deluxe version came with the later four meter+speedo console which later became the standard unit till the release of the version with the changed dashboard with the single glove box along with the collapsible link steering.

Hi sanjeev. This is the green that my '64 MkII is being painted with. I've chosen the shade on the FR door.
More details of my Amby are in here:

Hope this helps!

You are right boss. The meters are all mix and match here. In the first one the ammeter is not original and in the other the speedometer and the fuel gauge are not originals.
Saw this 1966 Amby converted to mark 4, couple of days back. Was in good condition though doesn't have clean lines. Was cruising merrily. Take a look.
Saw this charming beauty on the other day at Lourdes cathredal Thrissur
Don't know how long my Amby will take to come out but till then posting pics of my mechanic's Amby here.
Car is not yet got polished. They're in the process of fitting trims. According to Gopal (mechanic) my car should come out 100 times better than this.. And I only hope.
Phone camera captures so please excuse the quality. Take a close look at his finish level. There's no usage of metal paste anywhere. He takes time and produces magic.
