The car could be quite old. The tailfin ribs are however recent, while the taillamps are from the last but one generation.
But what amused me is that the owner has tried to reach the tailfin ribs upto the taillamp with some appendages on either sides.

I could be hopelessly wrong here, but was your Landmaster black in colour prior to being restored, sir?

You are right, yes it was black. The cars you have spotted in mysore are all from mechanic shekars garage in yele thota road close to chamundi foot Hill. In fact my cars mechanic is just opposite garage.

Right you are, sir. The Mark 1s are indeed from Shekhar's garage. :)
I've seen only one Landmaster in Mysore till date and it was black. I spotted it many, many months ago near A2Z Supermarket, Kuvempunagar.
Might've been yours. :)
Spotted two Mark 2s yesterday on the Bangalore-Mysore highway.

Whose workshop ? Rest of the car images and details
Spotted this neat Mark 2 today..

Saw an amazing looking Ambassador on the move this morning on Tambaram Velachery road coming down the flyover near Kamakshi Hospital and moving towards Velachery. Unfortunately was driving and couldn't take photos.
Body was off-white/cream colored, with light green tinted glasses, it had the body of a Mark IV but the bonnet of the Landmaster. Aux lamps and horns on a small bull bar in front. Wheels had a chrome ring on the wheels with slightly wider tires. This was really a beauty with really good paint that was nice and shiny. Couldn't resist typing this up. Does anyone from Chennai know/have seen of this car or have photos of her ?
Spotted yesterday night. Lovely old house. :)

Spotted at Bangalore.
