Congratulations and best wishes for the excellent restoration project, Mitch. I had owned Lambretta, Vijai Super and Priya [half sibling of Vespa] scooters. In 1960s, the waiting period for owning Vespa in India was more than 10 years and for Lambretta more than 4 years!

Aw! let me atleast put the blingy seat. I am so obsessed with Mitch's design for the seat.

The seat is an Ancillotti copy with the slope back cut out. Ancillotti were a couple of brothers who used to race Lambrettas in Italy. They spurned a whole load of racing extras which were all the rage in the 70s. The seat was a used one I bought. I had it re-covered by a specialist.

There are no stickers, the script was added on top of the base coat prior to the lacquer. It is a perfectly smooth finish.

I decided not to fit the GP200 badge because I wanted something a bit different.
