Still in Denmark, but headed East soon........

Beautiful!! a different kind of rear door??Looking forward to this car in India!!

An outstanding replica of the original Series I, beautifully restored original patina and replication on the model.

@Polly Singh. What a beauty your LR Series 2A is! My lifetime inspiration. Which is why my humble old Gypsy follows the similar colour coding pattern... (Here’s a pic for you).

But the actual pic I wanted to share is what I saw this morning in Fraser Town in Bangalore. Looks like it is just neglected, unused and lying there. Looks like one of those Land Rover 110 Expedition type vehicles. It’s front two fender mirrors are Maruti Gypsy or Maruti Van type TOYO mirrors...

A series three that had apparently rolled over in Port Blair!!

Posting with permission from my friend Vivek Sharma who captured this wonderful picture at Sandakphu.

If Mahindra went to Land Rover instead of jeep, or we got our Independence a decade later, there would have been a ton of Landys in India

For the last 12 years I am keeping an eye on it. It has involved some Police Case and it doesn't have any papers with police records. No way to get it and don't even think about it because I have kept few watch dogs there:D.

Hey guys. Is anyone aware of the current condition and whereabouts of this Defender? Has it been rescued or is it still dying a slow, painful death. :sadface Please do post pics if possible.

It's just vanished from there , no idea where it is and who took it , there was a highway expansion work going on and after that it was just disappeared:(
