Any idea of the Prince Azam Jah blue and silver Bentley that Prince Mukkaram Jah took to Australia? Heard it was swindled by his one time caretaker....? Mukkaram Jah Bahadur hit a cart at 80mph while driving back from Calcutta in it...back in the sixties. I have some pics of him with his Austin Champ...(now with Shadaan College people, Hyderabad)...Will post them. |

Many thanks for the wonderful picture, Travancore. I need to do some digging up before the pics are unearthed. Give me a little time! |

From what I understand the Momen car was with Mauzamjah (the prince's uncle) and the car that Mukkaramjah took to Australia was his father Azamjah's. From the last I heard the Bentley in Australia was all but gone left to rot outside in the compound. I hope someone has rescued the car. I have a very vague memory of that car, too vague to clearly remember what colour it was. |

Clearly an early Buick. Anywhere between 1915 to the 20s I'd say. Google Baba may be invoked for more illumination! |
