One of my friends ordered the helmet during previous sale few weeks back and paid via PayTM. PayTM was having a 100% cashback. So the helmet was purchased free but to complete the order, it took around 3 hours after multiple tries

Got the helmet delivered yesterday. Looks good and was a snug fit.

I got an SMS on 21st confirming that my helmet will be shipped in 10 days. No updates after that. Fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, Droom has another offer, as below. Not sure how genuine those services are. But premium roadside assistance by Mahindra First Choice for Rs 99 looks attractive. Any takers?

The helmet was delivered yesterday, 2 weeks after placing the order. Had got the order confirmation message a week ago and then it suddenly arrived yesterday without any further communication. The helmet is as good (or bad) as the regular Vega/Studds/Steelbird helmets which retail at around Rs. 700.

As luck would have it, one of our office peon met with an accident on his bike two days ago. Sadly, his old helmet broke and he got 7 stitches near his eyebrow

. Maybe this new helmet would have fared better during the crash. Anyway, what is done is done. He realised the importance of a helmet and was very happy when I gave him this one

He even promised to never ride without one!

Do also stress the importance of always having the helmet securely buckled on!

Oh yes! Told him that too and he understood it well. I have a feeling that he didn't buckle up on the accident day. As they say, you learn from your mistakes. I think this fellow did.

Couldn't play a part in this, thanks to that completely unstable website. Next time i hope to try again and get the order placed so i can donate it to someone who is basically putting off buying a helmet because it costs 500 rupees while smokes 3 packets of cigarette each week with two to three sessions of drinking. Hey one is safety the other is his birth right.

Got mine today, indeed this was not a gimmick. I have not paid more than Rs. 9/-.

The helmet is something which I can never even think of using. This is only like "something is better than nothing" thing. Although this surely is better than the cheap roadside helmets which do more harm than protection. An ideal gift though !

I just got my helmet delivered today. Sure it looks good. However i think they are shipping unsold defective pieces. Like on my helmet there is a minor scratch and rubber lining is cracked a bit. but considering the price Rs.9. It is negligible

Hello All,
Today I also received Helmet without any dispatch info on message.

Packaging was proper. Helmet is quality wise OK.
Side protection is good, top part of helmet is not having any foam added.

Something is better than nothing.....

Is it matte finished? We all have received glossy helmets

No, its glossy only. I took photo at night, plus CFL light in background showing it as non glossy.
