Another one bites the dust... Trucks overturning on the NH58 between Ghaziabad and Meerut is such a common site, I see and average of 2 of them every week. The local traffic is quite unruly, and the narrow road & poorly-constructed median helps in causing these accidents.

The marks on the road seems to imply that it is a case of a tyre burst at high speeds that the Fiesta must have been doing. If you look carefully it looks like the front Rt tyre is the culprit. The driver may have panicked when this occurred.

Hi

Did anyone see teh accident on the Salem- Bangalore highway. The car was a sedan (perhaps Hyundai or Maruti), overturned, with the steering wheel(?) facing the opposite direction. There were banana crisps strewn all over the place I dont know what happened to the driver or passengers, I went past the car around twilight last night when driving back from Yercaud.

Read about an Hayabusa accident in the Hindu Hyderabad edition today. The rider a software engineer from Hyderabad, came under the wheels of an RTC bus and the biker died on the spot.

The bike slid under the bus and hit the diesel tank. The bus went up in flames and was completely damaged. This happened near Pocharam in Medak district.

Has anyone heard about this accident ? any pics of the crashed Hayabusa ?

This happened around a month and half ago on the pondy-tindivanam road. The driver(he was alone) was killed instantly.

His name was chaitanya and he was one of the most active members from hyderabad on Xbhp forum.
his user handle was Kriss,and he had got married on 24th July 2009.

A week ago there was an accident near Bhayendar/Thane. Car was a Berry Red i20, which hit a trailer and was subsequently rear-ended, during pouring rains and evening/night time.
Does anyone have any details of the accident?

He is a close friend of mine. The day before the accident we had our lighter moments at night and I have taken his P200 for my personal use. The next day, when I woke up I heard this sad news. We are still not able to digest the news. May his soul Rest In Peace.

The exact details were unknown as there was nobody else with him at the time of accident. The villagers told the RTC bus took a fast right turn from highway into the Bhikanoor village and the Hyabusa hit the bus and went under the bus.

Sad Tuesday morning, a bike stuck under the front axle of a tipper lorry, on Outer Ring Road just before Fernhill apartments. Seemed like it happened just before i passed the place and they were moving the victims into an Auto at 930am.

Tricky intersection thanks to our horrible driving habits, expect huge block now on for another hour or so.
