I drove the Bangalore-Kanakpura-Malavalli-Kollegal-Yallandur-BRT-K.Gudi route yesterday (19th - 20th July). I loved the route. Traffic was mild and I always hated the Mysore road due to heavy traffic. I drove in my low clearance Honda City and the roads were good throughout. I hope more people explore the Kanakapura road . Not too many options for good food though. It took me 4 hrs to reach Bangalore.
