Hello,

I have planned for a day trip to Puttaparthi and Muddenahalli from Bangalore.

Exact starting location - Mantri Elite Bannerghatta road

Can someone please suggest the best route?

Its the standard route. Drive on NH7 all the way till Bagepalli . Exit the 4-lane about 2 km once you see RAXA academy. Its a 2-lane road since then for about 40km. Its decent road all the way. You should be able to make it in 2-3 hours max.

There is nothing much on this highway. A Kamat at Chikkaballapur and a Swagath Delicacy close by. They mostly open beyond daybreak.

We have planned for an early start (5ish).

You probably will hit fog just after the airport. Would suggest a 6 am start, stop at Devanhalli Nandi Upachar for breakfast and then carry on. This will ensure that you drive without the fog, assuming you will take an hour for the drive to Devanhalli and a 30 min breakfast stop. You should to reach Puttaparthi by 9-9:15 am.
