Aveo vs NHC Zxi

So whats it gonna be? Not like i am buying any of them but I am sure this is gonna confuse several as most of us find these car ugly from the outside, nice from the inside.
Pick you choice for overall better package.

For me car buying decision is a decision of heart, and not FE, resale, *** etc. Honda City just doesnt ignite any passion in me, plus its like M800 of upper middle class, you will find a zillion Gold Honda Citys across the town. Though I think from an FE standpoint, quality standpoint, Honda is a better product. But I would still go with Aveo. You might wanna add Baleno to your poll, would make this poll more entertaining, with all the Baleno salesmen, owners, and fanatics we have got here... (sorry couldnt resist)

I voted for Aveo. The specs, looks and price look great vs NHC ZX. Hoping Aveo's performance and Af Sa Se will match or exceed...

Although I am mightily impressed with Aveo but out of the two I will pick good 'ol Honda City. At the end of the day its Honda.

Honda city has been out for quite a long time, even NHC type II has been out almost 4 to 5 months where has Aveo has just launched, at least in Pune first delivery can be expected after 4 to 5 days only.
Not fair comparison.

Voted for NHC..

Its an overall better car than AVEO... Time will only tell about the no. of sales..

since it is only between NHC and Aveo, i'll bet my bucks over Aveo.
NHC never appealed to me coz of the experience of OHC!
everytime i drives NHC, the sweet memories of OHC comes to my mind.

Aveo gives a much better 'planted-feel' and seems a tad bigger and better than NHC. it also gave a nice feel to the right foot!

so, i am with AVEO.

Maybe you should have had the option of NHC VTEC and Aveo 1.6 too. I bet polls would have been favouring NHC VTEC tehn

NHC for me - though the aveo sounds very tempting, it is not any fun to drive either (the 1.4 at least)
plus NHC is more spacious and is easier to drive around the city (and gives more FE as well, though its debatable)

It is too early for such type of polls. The Aveo just reached showrooms and all of sudden TBHP got a new Darling!! The same happened when Fiesta launched, it immdtly became the darling and now Aveo, I just can't understand.

fiesta never appealed to me.
it might also be having the new-car factor coming to its rescue, but imho, it won't stay for long.

Aveo, on the other hand, felt much more secure and fun-to-drive.

Which variant of Aveo ?
By NHC ZXi I presume you mean the NHC GXi ?
Isn't the Aveo 1.6 OTR price similar to the NHC GXi OTR price ?
Isn't the NHC Vtec almost 1 L more expensive than the Aveo 1.6 ?

So ideally shouldn't the poll be between the Aveo 1.6 LT and the NHC GXi ?
I reserve my vote till the options are modified.

Dude its a simple poll! Why do u want to complicate things by adding in variants, features of such most of us are not aware off. I am just asking which car overall would u pick...simple!

Well, this poll doesnt go anywhere in my opinion. Loads of guys here might have not even test driven the Aveo, so whatever comments or views on the Aveo will be either heard from their friends / relatives or read in mags. I too havent driven the Aveo though it looks very promising. So i am going to hold on to my horses - test drive the Aveo and then come and answer the poll.
