Never say that ever again ;-)

I am not able to sell my 2.5 year old Getz for a half decent price. I bought it for 5.0 lakh and am not getting more than 2.5 lakh for it :-((

But then it is 2.5 yrs old also.. plus the fact that getz has changed a model now... 1.3 being more of a gas guzzler.

Another myth. Mine never gave me less than 12.5-13 KMPL, with AC always on. And 14 kmpl without AC.

What more do you want, Sir? As it is, all cars (with supposedly good resale) depreciate at minimum 15%. Yours depreciated at 20%. Big deal!

Who knows what will happen after 3 years now?

@ntomer - Give the Fiesta another shot. Go for a TD in traffic.
It may not have as much power as the Verna or be as spacious, but the car is way better to drive and IMHO has better interiors. The engine is amazing and you will fall in love with the car when you drive in traffic. The engine is really responsive, more than the Verna in lower speeds and the FE is better as well.

I test-drove it, and liked the engine. But IMO, it's over-priced. The top-end model SXi costs 8.95 lakh in Noida and doesn't have many of the goodies I will expect with a car of this price (no air-bags, no alloys).

Gonna test drive Octavia Rider this week-end.

Now the final contenders are Verna CRDi, Octavia TDi, Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic.

Although my heart still says Safari :-((

Hmmm .. Buy Civic or Buy Tata Sumo .. Hmmmm ... Such a tough desicion.

Both are equally good

When he has shortlisted some cars why would you suggest a Tata Sumo ????

He says he would like to go for a Safari if a SUV.
