To be honest, all Corsa owners should be doing exactly that!
All those silly problems caused by bad fuel would be nipped in the bud!
(Although the definition of regular might be different for everyone, I would recommend that everyone use it EVERY time you fuel up. Or at least every other time.)

Viraat, I agree. For me regularly means 1ml System-G for every litre of petrol added to my car. No exceptions!

Same. No exceptions for me either. But I use Speed 91 or Xtra Premium and still do put 20ml for 16.xx L of fuel (Rs.1000) and so on. Do you also use 91 octane?

No, I use the regular unleaded petrol only.

Few years ago when the supply of System-G was irregular, I switched to the premium petrol (without System-G). This made me realize the importance of System-G almost immediately. The engine kept on developing various issues due to clogged fuel injectors. The acceleration was not smooth; the engine used to switch off midway; even the idling RPM was not steady.

Last two years, there have been no supply issues. I have shifted back to regular unleaded + System-G. No engine issues after that.

From day one GM insisted that System G be added to petrol, as the injectors clogged without it. Rough idling, if other causes are sorted is mostly due to injectors clogging. If you have not used the additive for some time, get the injectors cleaned ASAP, as system G may not unclog deposits which have fused due to high heat.

Have any of you managed to get hold of the Opel Corsa Repairs / Service Manual? I have started noticing there are very few Opel Mechanic left in most GM service centers. And local mechanics will mess up you car and is best to avoid.
Hence i guess its time to keep the service and the parts manual for holding on to this machine for a longer duration.
On googling i found a german version of the service manual. Have any of you tried acquiring a PArts and service manual. if so please share the same with me.
Thanks
Prithvi
