A lot of people have commented on this aspect for all the cars. I am not sure if the comments were limited to comfort as in seating and ease of driving controls or included driver comfort in terms of performance.

I'd say driver comfort is there in the SX4 provided you can keep the car to 2500rpm or over. Below that it's ponderous to drive and can tire you out more then a better performing car. That's just my opinion from driving the SX4 for over 32,000kms which includes a lot of highway runs.

I know the decision has already been made in favour of the Linea MJD dynamic. Congrats on the purchase. Do update us with your ownership impression and expereince.

dont worry about the so called under powered engine.

You will kiss the engine, after getting the FE of 15-16 (diesel) and 12 (petrol)

I would'nt be so confident with the FE. In Ahmedabad city driving the best ive got till date is about 14 max (Linea MJD). And it does feel underpowered in city driving.High ways is a different story.

What is the avg. mileage you are getting in city and highway.. Is it terribly underpowered in highway?

Tomorrow I am going to SBI Annasalai Chennai to finish the final loan related formalities..

I am expecting the car on Saturday evening.. I also know that election counting is on saturday and just thinking whether to take the car on the same day since we never know how the situation will turn during the vote counting process..

I will definitely post the pics and actively update the ownership related information in Team - BHP.

Proud to be called as a TEAM - BHP'ian.

Regards,
Sathya

...Tomorrow is "the" day when my "beauty queen-Minimal Grey Linea MJD" is going to come home... I went and saw the car in completely dismantled shape for ICE and sun-film work.

Tomorrow, the dealer has promised to give the car by 3PM. Hoping for the best!

Regards,
Sathya
