I am also a You broadband user from Chennai and facing this issue.
Thanks for the enlightment on this issue as the local guys are clueless.

Currently I access TBHP through VPN using the same You telecom network and it works fine.
Though this is not a permanent solution to this issue.

Yes, I am also using YouBroadband in Pune. Thank You for your response. I will rather use the workaround. I now, connect to the personal hotspot while using Team-BHP website.

I'd be very keen to hear how it was resolved by them. My best guess is that they are now routing the request via another route to avoid that Vi server that is blocking the request.

Could you please share another traceroute?

Also, do note that our nightly backup runs at 4AM IST every day -- which also makes the site inaccessible for 5-10 minutes... So do check if that is what you're referring to?

I have no idea what was done. Two sets of people were involved, one set from my local cable operator and another set from KFON customer care.

Traceroute as per your request. I have used the same device as my previous traceroutes.

Checking Team-BHP is the first thing I do when log in at office. It matches with the server back up time..

From the traceroute it seems like the route from your home to Team-BHP is no longer hitting the misbehaving Vodafone-Idea server (122.15.147.86).

I was not able to access team-bhp today from 2:20am IST. I checked other websites like Google, timesofindia, gmail etc and everything else was working fine. I also tried switching between my wifi and mobile network but kept getting the below error till 2:25am.

I tried to access team-bhp again at 2:40am and was able to access team-bhp. I am using it on a chrome browser on an android phone.

Issue resolved for YouBroadBand (Pune) Users!

Good news! After many months, and lots of following up via several different channels, somehow YouBroadBand has pulled through and resolved the issue of Team-BHP.com being unreachable for their users.

We had actually moved on from addressing this with YouBB and were trying different routes, when out of the blue they reached out saying it's resolved!



I guess they might have changed their own routing to avoiding the Vodafone-Idea servers that were actually causing the problem.
