Spotted a MH-12 registered black Punto on Eastern Express Highway towards Mumbai from Thane last evening. Flashed lights and waved, got an acknowledgement. Who was it? That Punto looks wicked!

1) How does one communicate to the other BHPian when spotted?
2) If I'm being followed by a BHPian who "signals" to me, how do I acknowledge?

I prefer old 1980s Amitabh Bachchan movies' gold smuggler code (made using a torch) - three slow flashes. Acknowledgement could be one flash of the tail lamp!

While in a four wheeler:
Signal: Three short honks, three short headlight flashes, three short honks.
Ack: One flash of the hazard lights (if in a four wheeler) or thumbs up (if on a two wheeler).

While on a two wheeler:
Signal: Maintain a safe distance and give a thumbs up.
Ack: Three short flashes of headlight (if in a four wheeler) or thumbs up (if on a two wheeler).

This is what I follow.

Ha ha Vignesh, how I wish, but that would meaning 'honking, flashing, honking, flashing' to get in front of him.
Noticed that some people blow the horn unnecessarily after reading that, may be to check if I really will slow down. And most of the times I do just that. Slow down, stop and indicate him to pass over my roof.
