The same guys and the same concept of the Bajaj ad but a twist in the tale. Awesome.

In it they show Horlicks and the lady goes on take it out of a shopping trolley and says that it has "cheap" ingredients and is not good for the childs health!!!

Talk about direct references to the competitor, this is the best one can get!

The worst set of ads ever to come out on Indian television, are definitely the IDEA mobile ads. Even the super literate took days figuring out just what the probable message conveyed through the ads could be. I think the advertising agency would have taken up a contract with IDEA for a definite number of ads, and must have received payment BEFOREHAND, so that IDEA thought it better to let them do their job, in hope that something good might turn up. But alas, it just keeps getting worse!.
Someone should think of setting up a dumb-ad monitor, to cut away all the nonsensical ads from Indian TV.

After the First prize of the most obnoxious ads - (Yay!- IDEA mobile wins)

Second goes to Altis with Orlando Bloom withering away

Third -Tata Sky ads- especially the hermaphrodite Aamir Khan ad, and the irritating music and jingle 'isko lagaa daala toh ..'

Fourth goes to the RBS (royal bank of scotland) ads with sachin standing there looking masterly blasted

Fifth - goes to the HCL ads with the irritating 'ab aap yahaan bhi..?' catchline

Sixth - Shah Rukh Khan ads (all of them)

Seventh - HDFC Insurance Ads

Eighth - IBM ads- absolutely idiotic, and typically American

Ninth - AIG ad with the kid saying 'thank you auntee' and 'papa meri pehli shaalarry'

Tenth - a tie! between - the Big TV ad & Dainik Jaagran ad

1)The Puma Ad- with paolo nutini's 'New shoes' song
2)Fevicol ads - right from the old ad about the unbreakable egg
3)Limca - where do they keep getting the ravishing models?. The jingles are also nice - from the 'boondon mein' onwards.
4)Union bank - nicely shot
5)The ICICI pru 'czechoslovakia' ad
6)Mentos
7)Mastercard ad- ridiculous prices, but nicely shot ads
8)Nike 'Cricket on the street ' ad
9)Monster.com
10)Tied ! - Happydent (most creative -with the teeth lighting' & of course- the Cadbury's ads

The Complan ad was made in response to the Horlicks ad which also made a direct reference to Complan... only difference being that the Horlicks ad was aired on only kids' channels like Cartoon Network, Pogo etc. whereas the Complan ad is aired everywhere.

Any one seen that dumb ad about some paint or something, in which houses are seen running away to group together whenever a storm seems to start? And the funny part is, the houses do this when the woman goes to hang/pick clothes outside.
