Glad its finally off the air.
Hahaha. Crazy feet & Malkhamb rock are equally annoying. Teens can make better commercials than that. Its like the makers desperately want the ad to go viral.

Another commercial that annoys me is Virat Kohli's 'Alive is awesome'. Infact all his ad choices are irritating from Tamanna to "pe pe pe pe pe" Cinthol.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Hi,

I have seen Mahindra Rise ad yesterday. It consists of all their product line. I don't know why, but I liked this ad.

Thanks,
Ravikumar N

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Did you guys see the latest Tata Sky + HD ad showing an American style Jail where 4 inmates plot to escape ? It shows Caucasian and African actors with realistic 'action' sequence.
It is amazing the way they have done this ad - almost you would think that it is a trailer of a Hollywood movie. Tata seems to have some brilliant Ad people - Safari Reclaim ads and now this.

The last line ' for the Hard Working Indians ' is the punch line.

^^
The ad appears to be highly influenced by Prison Break. Very interesting and entertaining.

Tata sky airs the full format of the ad in their advt channel. I think Channel no 100 or 101 . Its as good as a movie. Well shot and executed.

The expressions of the actor, specially at the petrol bunk is excellent.

PS: Is it shown as KL 5 all over India? I though they were switching the registration for each state.
if you noticed, it says - "Nothing else will do" I am wondering, how come Mahindra hasn't objected to this yet!

I disagree. I find this ad quite odd in terms of stereotyping people. Where I live this is actually poking fun at the "Madrasi" guy beginning right from the accent and the way he keeps talking of Sambar rice.

I found the humour in it quite sweet...
I am a Southerner some may call me a Madrasi
However I dont find this ad offensive unlike the way most portrayals of Southerners go, in our great idiotic Bollywood rubbish movies...

I don't find it offensive either; me being from God's own country and all actually it's portraying Murthy as an intelligent fella who bought a Voltas all weather a/c while the others are sweating it out

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Its getting worse. The new Axe Ad with RCB.

Just read the tagline too : They say, the power is in your hands. In this case, the right hand to be precise. Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the coolest and most followed team in Indian Premier League (IPL) and the AXE Effect is now a part of their lives

Very crass and in extremely poor taste indeed.
Axe ads have belaboured the wannabe raunchy theme far too much. Now they are reaching, nay plumbing, new depths in third rate levels.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

I like the coke ads airing these days with the new comers from the film 'Student of the year'. Fresh faces, good theme song and a nice message to go with it.
