Absolutely numb when I saw the Times of India yesterday. Never felt so saddened like this before about a netizen whom I have never met but avidly followed. The Nano CD he sent me is still in my library. His life was like a shining meteor. May the Almighty give strength to Jenny and his father.

Logging into team-bhp after a long time to do this unenviable task of paying condolences.

I remember Sam as one of the most cheerful guys on team-bhp - always ready to lend a patient ear and a helping hand.

Did not access TBHP for long and when I did I was taken aback by this news. I rarely post but this was the news for which I had to pay my respects.
It was very sad to hear. I just loved the way Sam wrote the blogs and made all of us laugh and giggle. May be the almighty needs to spread laughter in the heaven so he called our beloved Sam.
I just pray that may his soul rest in peace and God should give strengh to Jenny and all others in his family.

I fully endorse Melvyn's suggestions to the managers of Team BHP. Maybe a committee could be formed to pursue some of Melvyn's suggestions and other practical ideas of managers / moderators.

As I wrote earlier in my tribute to Sam, I hadn't even heard of him (having joined TBHP less than a month ago) but now after reading his posts and hearing about his extraordinary life I'm already a huge fan of his. It's quite amazing that some TBHP members who have been silent all along are moved by Sam's tragic demise to write their very first posts to offer their condolences!

How I wish I had an opportunity to interact with this extraordinary human being earlier.
