Yeah. Lego in India is way too expensive. But that doesn't justify Shell's promotion.

I doubt it. Here's the T&C from Shell's website.

My bad, it was Rs 249 and not 275. I have corrected the original text

Got 1 yesterday for Rs. 249. The plastics don't feel cheap. I liked the tyres in the whole unit. They fit pretty neat into the slots. The car revvs forward when you pull it back.

Re: Ferrari Collectibles from your friendly Shell Outlet

I visited Shell today to check this out. Conditions are as follows:

a) We have to fill 20 litres of SULP or 25 litres of ULP.

b) Must fill in a single fill for cars. For bikes, maximum four fills allowed. They will give a card for bikes and endorse it after each fill.

c) We have to pay Rs 249.00 and take the toy, once target is achieved.

In Pune, the conditions are slightly different. The attendant told me that no need of purchasing Shell fuel. Anyone can pay Rs.249 and take one. I liked the F1 car, but did not take.

It seems customers are not very impressed by the offer from Shell. So they may want to clear the stock now.

Re: Ferrari Collectibles from your friendly Shell Outlet

Is it so? The offer will run till January. The listed price is Rs 700.00 I think. I am not interested because it looks like a plastic Chinese toy and not a scale model to me. But my son wants one, so I may buy just one! I fill up more than the stipulated quantity of fuel anyway.

Re: Ferrari Collectibles from your friendly Shell Outlet

^^ I am not sure whether the toys are available for purchase by paying Rs.249. At least the attendant in a Pump near our residence said so.

Apart from berlinetta and the f1 models, which shell station in bangalore has got other models? My regular shell station has only got the above mentioned models.

The pump attendant told me that they won't receive other models till their current stocks are cleared.

I've now got both and am not able to expand the collection.

Shell does have a sense of humor I must say, I used the locate Shell feature in their website and the nearest Shell station from Delhi is
ADEEL ENTERPRISES FS
472.37 km
BADDIAN ROAD LAHORE, 54770 Pakistan

"No results from neighbourhood" would have been a better result dear Shell

I think the staff is not well informed, in fact I got F1 in first week of scheme launch when I inquired about it after filling up just 200/- worth of petrol and the guy gave it to me by paying 249/-.

Exactly, in Pune too only these two model are available. I was also interested for the Truck model and upon inquiring they said that model will come in January. Are they talking about promotional toys!

Quite mismanaged marketing technique, you tied up with Ferrari, pulled-on some F1 drivers for the ad, invested on media advertisement etc. all so that the most sought after model will not reach to the Shell pumps for over a month past the scheme launch?
