RIP GD... You'll be missed.... I still can't believe it. Every time when he updated his tiger clicking travelogue i felt like i am there with him.... Such was his charisma.... May God give strength to the family to sail through these tough times... :(

Couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the news on FB, it was so unexpected !
Have some great memories of GD sir from the delhi meets. His status updates on FB and his witty replies were a constant entertainment for all.

I will miss my dear friend :-( He leaves me with more than just memories.

Gurudutt BC's funeral is at 1pm on Sunday, 7 September, at Shiv Shamshan Bhumi Sudhar Samiti located at NH-8, Near Iffco Chowk, Sukhrali, Gurgaon.

Never knew him and never met him before but his travelogues to the National Park visits were awesome. He will be missed.

Yesterday when I heard the news I went numb. I've spoken to him, planned to meet him, sadly now I've lost that chance forever.
Rest in Peace Gurudutt, may God give your family strength to sustain your absence.

It is taking too long to sink in, as I plan my day tomorrow to include his cremation.

He was a curious blend of modernity and tradition. He could regale you with his stories. On our last meeting, when he came to my office to collect a CD, the entire office including my Boss stopped work for two hours to listen to his stories. Such was his infectious enthusiasm, attention to detail and the spirit with which he narrated stories.

I look back at meets, at the photo with him at my wedding reception and at Roshun's photo of GD-ji alongside Shikari Shambu (whom GD-ji seemed to resemble).

We will miss you a lot. And we include your family in our prayers.
