Beautiful cars farid. Franklin mints are always a class apart. The detailing in 1:24 scale is crazy. They might be very expensive though. Do keep posting and yes very nice photography.

2 request...

first of all, as a spaniard almost new in this forum, only to say that these nice die-cast cars are so nice. i have been wandering some dozens of pages, but cathing up with the whole 209 is a tremendous job to do!!

I collect, most of all, 1:43 scale models, a popular scale in Europe. I prefer Dinkys, Corgis, Mebetoys,...i mean, the kind of cars that children used to play or collect, dreaming through them.
i have seen some nice old matchbox in this thread also!
here they were treated as toys but nowadays, to get cars made by spanish companies from the 70s or 80s as Paya, Mira, Nacoral or Pilen are treasured, as all the whole toy industry is placed almost in China...
I like also exotic cars, made in foreign places abroad. Then, i have few very few, indian cars or toys made in India, as for instance a Coomer Van and Premier Padmini by Maxwell, a Amby by Centy toys and an Indica and Tata Sumo.
I wish to ask 2 questions: anyone can help me telling me few indian cars made at scale at anytime (I mean, is there the Alto or 118E never been made to scale, for instance? or the Tata Loadbeta/Pick up, for instance?
and anyone selling indian toys online? (secondhand or new ones?)
thanks so much!!

Firstly, welcome to the forum. there is a member here, Salilpawar, who also loves 1:43 scaled cars. Here in india, you get a HUGE variety of those!! Kinsmart is my favourite!! Well.....for the price at least!! Otherwise, if i was stinking rich, then it would definately be AutoArt or IXO!!

Anywyas, have fun here, there is LOTS to learn!

shankar i have some toys and models for the II nd WW and yes iam also looking for some Tanks and Nazi aircrafts models but no luck yet in banglore..
well this is a neat site, if you wish to check on the same..

Also am looking for a working model of an RMC truck - I had one which was given to me about 10 years ago by some chaps at Schwing Stetter, but some blighted brat who visited my home, squealed and squealed and demanded it, with its blighted parents looking on at its antics in a fond and fatuous manner, blast them - so I was forced to give it away to keep the peace.

hahah this is a nice write up.."blighted brat and his blighted parents"
