The Mods continue.......Its not complete yet, but iwas obsessed with getting this done, even got badly cut while trimming the intercooler..Could have actually donated the amount of blood that i just lost today....but, what the hell, its all worth it!!

Phew!! Just returned back from Navnit's.Got myself the BMW F 800 GS scale model.Guys trust me this is like nothing you have seen befor.The detailing is insane.This is the first scale model i've seen featuring front working suspension.Can't wait to get back home and start taking pics.

Guys, look at my latest - Taxi number Nau - Do - Gyaaraa ! Just loved her at first sight and picked her. She's RC, and a bit low on detailing and proportion, but you've got to hand it to the Chinese for making a model of a Mumbai taxi, just for the Indian market . Probably the first and only RC black and yellow !!

Hey Amit, it's a very basic model - a plastic R/C car !! In fact, it has nothing written below, no make, no scale, and did not come in a box ! She's 9 inches long, so that would be approx 1:18 ?? She would never qualify as a scale model, as the proportions are very wrong - though the lower half is ok, the top half (greenhouse) is very very low. Black and yellow is the only colour scheme on offer, and the price is Rs. 250/-.
What kicked me most was that the Chinese made it and got it to hit our market - it's probably meant to sell only in India.
I shortly intend to jazz her up by adding a bit more chrome where it's missing, ie on the side trims, rear number plate lights, etc. I may also add authentically mad taxi decals such as "Mumbai - Thane - Bhayender - Esselworld" or "Om Namah Shivaay" on the rear windscreen, just for effect.

can you see at the back of the R/C if the name of the producer is given or not. its a really nice one. it will be easy to source the car here then.

Sorry man.. absolutely nothing written, except "RC", "Racer" and "Made in China". Nothing on the car either. But I could check with the shop I got it from, will let you know if I get any leads.
