I used to have Matchbox scale cars as a kid, but lost most of them along the way. Would love to see someone post their collection.

Some new ones to my collection. Here's a teaser of my Alto. I have modded this to bring it to this current state. Looked bad to start with.

Can anyone guess the make?

It's a "Centy toys" Alto. You have done a mighty good job to make it look original.

You must have noticed that the wheel design is a copy of the one found on Kinsmarts. Check your Evo 8.

Yup, spent quite some time on it. Will bless it with a spoiler soon. Mods underway.

I noticed the alloy design is the same, which makes it worthy of the company of the Evos.

Salil, you have one as well? Here's the front view, after my mods.

Same here. I had a good collection of Matchbox cars during my school days before moving to the bigger scale ones later. Lost few of those but still have a decent bunch in decent condition. Would snap a few photos of those next week as they are locked up in my attic to prevent abuse by kids who come to our house.

Thats a 1:36, KINSMART, same as mine which is in white.
Here's a face-off between the Evo and the Indian Lancer.

P.S. : I fabricated the spoiler on the Indian Lancer myself.

@planet_rocker: That should convince you to get a Kinsmart Evo, which you earlier rejected becoz of scale.

I am desparately in search of a scale model of the Indian Lancer. Benny, if you spot another one in your hometown, please PM me. Centy's cars have decent detailing for their dirt cheap price. And it's looking lovely. The turbo sticker looks a bit loud though!

I want to get hold of the elusive AutoArt Mitsu Evolution VI. Searching for two years in Mumbai but in vain.

this KINSMART EVO is damn sexy.
btw salil, the centy lancer is not a good looker. there are 3 colors available-white, red, blue.

Salil, sure shall keep a lookout for another one. I picked this up from BB, after quite some searching. There was a black Baleno and an Indica in white as well, but since i had to choose between the two, i chose the Lancer.

Just need a favour from my side, if you come across an Ikon scale model, please would you pick one for me? Kinda desperate to get one in scale, since i already have the real one.

As for the stickering, there were a lot more silly ones, which i got rid off, before i went ahead with modding it, keeping the Evo as an inspiration. Can you believe i have an embedded toothpick in that spoiler which i fabricated, for strength.

Doing the alloys was the most difficult part. I retained the Turbo sticker as the rear bumper looked really empty if i removed it.
