Thanks, Amit V8, yes I am interested in the old style Series 1,2 & 3 Landies.
Could you let me know where a good selection is available as some of the dealers in Chennai have a very limited selection.

Default Late intro

Guys,

Late intro but better late than never. Nice to see a lot of collectors here.I love scaled models. I am yet to go through this full thread. However, I have started posting some of my collections in the last few days here. Over the last decade, my scaled model collection has grown from a few to couple hundreds.

I usually like to keep my collections mint and preserve them in the casing I get them. I would like to get display cases for my collection but looking at the numbers it would need a huge investment. I could spend all my time admiring these miniature beauties but hardly find any free time from my 6 day work-week :(

Whenever I do get free time, I have been posting my collections. I have started off with my trucks which I am yet to complete. Then I have a couple hundreds of cars/vans/SUVs not to mention lots of HO scale trains/locomotives. I also have several Tamiya and other kits that I have collected over the years and yet to assemble.

I love the enthusiasm of the collectors in this thread. When I initially started my collection, I hardly heard/met anyone into scaled models.

I wish I had more time to detail my collection posting/photos. Any more details you need on any of my posting/pics, just ask me. Cheers

Default Hi Guys...

Had not visited the forum for a while. Found this thread today and spent a lot of time on it. All I can say is - it's amazing - never seen so many models with high levels of detail like I did in this thread.I need some help - could someone suggest a shop in Kolkata where I can pick up some 1:18 models? I just relocated so please put in as much detail as you can.

TIA !!!
