Sorry I havn't posted in ages. Hows it going? I havnt taken pictures of the cars. Absolutely had no time. I might get myself an RD350 in India

So we'll have one more thing in common.

Ok guys here goes nothing. For the longest time I never wanted to reveal the collection. The mystery was always great. Anyway I havnt compiled the Madras or Cochin collection so here goes nothing. 1 Car thats not been listed is a Karun Chandhok GP2 custom model which I think is in 1:10 or 1:8 scale. Hes one of my oldest friends and they were making about 3 of these models 1 for JK, 1 for Karuns family and the last one I grabbed, as no collection of mine would be complete without it.

This entire collection has been accumulated by since about July 2007. Bought both locally as well as ebay US and ebay UK. I'll try and put up pictures but Im really bad at that so not promising. Maybe next month I'll compile the Chennai collection. But lots of those cars have been put up on T-Bhp.

@Maverick: Anytime you come this side you're welcome to see the collection in the flesh. None of my friends here understand the cars so I dont ever open them out.

@Cyrus: Haha I dont think they're cheaper in Dubai Cyrus. For a new AA its about 450 -500AED. Which is close to about 120-135$ US. But having found the right stores. Their old stock I can bargain a get cheaper. Also they arrange to get me most cars I want.

@RPMPKDMFF: Definitely dude. My collection is like my dream garage in 1:18. Which is why I have so many BMW M cars. I try to ensure most of them are known for being drivers cars. The classics of course have a lot more aesthetic appeal. But even those I think the ones I have are more performance oriented. Given a choice Ive tried to pick the bigger engines. At the same time I've wanted some unique cars in the collection. I wanted a few RHDs. So some of the older Jap spec Kyoshos like my NSX and RX-7 are RHD. I bought the Kyosho A8 4.2TDi just to have a diesel sedan in the collection. Same with a Hydrogen 7. Some of the repeats are to fulfill some obnoxious side of my dream. Like wanting 3 BBR Enzos in each colour. 3 M6s, 3 M5s, 3 635csis. 3 is not some magic number. It just happened I guess. Also I wanted every single version of the BMW 2002 ever made. So though they all look the same to the average person. I have the 2002L, 2002ti, 2002tii, turbo and so on. My only mods are the M5 and M6 wheel swap. Its been hard and stressful when i couldnt get some car that I wanted or came extremely close to getting them. And even now if I start thinking about it there are some cars that stress me out. Like I dont have a new AA Ford GT. And I love that model. It looks like a million bucks. And some of my favourite model car stores shut down. Especially this one in singapore.

Im trying to step back from collecting for a while. Instead of hoarding like I was these past two years, I want to weigh my options and choose some extremely special models and just buy those. I want to put my money into 1:1s from now on. Ive acquired a tall bonnet short chassis Jeep in India. First time Jeep owner so Im studying all about it now. She's always in the shop, highly temperamental, wont fall into reverse until she feels like it but Im totally in love. Im in the process of getting an RD350 and these two will be the most auspicious start to my indian 1:1 collection.

If any of you guys ever need any advice or reviews on any model car(make, model, etc.) feel free to ask me. Ive read about them every day for the past two years, and have tried to sample almost every maker. I'll be more than willing to share what I know.

@Dippy: Long time mate. Yeah as we grow older priorities keep changing. The pace at which I was collecting will definitely change drastically. I will definitely take some pictures. But getting them all out wont be possible as I only have like 4 display cabinets. They house close to 50 cars.

My only mods are the M5 and M6 wheel swap. Its been hard and stressful when i couldnt get some car that I wanted or came extremely close to getting them. And even now if I start thinking about it there are some cars that stress me out. Like I dont have a new AA Ford GT. And I love that model. It looks like a million bucks. And some of my favourite model car stores shut down. Especially this one in singapore. Im trying to step back from collecting for a while. Instead of hoarding like I was these past two years, I want to weigh my options and choose some extremely special models and just buy those. I want to put my money into 1:1s from now on. Ive acquired a tall bonnet short chassis Jeep in India. First time Jeep owner so Im studying all about it now. She's always in the shop, highly temperamental, wont fall into reverse until she feels like it but Im totally in love. Im in the process of getting an RD350 and these two will be the most auspicious start to my indian 1:1 collection. If any of you guys ever need any advice or reviews on any model car(make, model, etc.) feel free to ask me. Ive read about them every day for the past two years, and have tried to sample almost every maker. I'll be more than willing to share what I know.

You can see the collection there. @Dippy: Long time mate. Yeah as we grow older priorities keep changing. The pace at which I was collecting will definitely change drastically. I will definitely take some pictures. But getting them all out wont be possible as I only have like 4 display cabinets. They house close to 50 cars.
