Those wheels are looking super cool. The resin transkit will work wonders on the car.
An update on my model build. (Since my Fiat restoration is held up, i devoted 3 evening to the build).
The awesome paint that i had achieved has been ruined a little bit, I hope a polishing will remove the glue stains. (the glue has aged :().
The first picture shows the chassis and engine, i have added these 5 details.
1. distributor wiring, 2. radiator rubber pipe, 3. metal and clear rubber petrol pipe, 4. rubber fresh air intake hose (to be fixed at final assembly), 5. Metal brake pipe (to be fixed at final assembly)
If you look at the paint it is fabric paint and is very sticky. Any suggestions for paints (spray paints where ever possible I have used and acieved good result).
The second picture is of body, you can see the blemishes cause of glue, bad boy. the ruining of load bay decal is courtsey of masking tape. The load bay will be filled with load of wooden logs.
The battery you see is for the headlights and brake lights. An on off switch is provided in the under belly. Lights look super cool.
Third picture is of interior, some cleaning is required. One can see the blue / white switch to simulate the brake light switch.
I intend to finish the rest of the build and final assembly by end of today.
Will provide good pictures then.
Thanks Zibby
@shyn: Nce shots of the Shelby. Good Pick.
@Manish: Interesting project you got on hand. The paint job looks good minus the blemishes. Worth noting is the detailing on the chassis & engine work.:thumbs up

I thought it might be usefull for some one.
Beautiful Peugeot 404.
Today being a rainy day, I was compelled to stay indoors and so had time to take photographs of some of my scale models.
I prefer collecting 1:18 scale models of SUVs over cars but sadly the choice is limited. I have added images of three SUVs from my collection.
The Mercedes GL model 1:18 scale wears a shade of very dark metallic blue and is superbly detailed by Minichamps.
The Land Rover Discovery (2004) is by Motor Max and except for the panel gaps, this model too is good.
A scale model collector favourite, the Mitsubishi Pajero LBW is an Auto Art model and is intricatly detailed.
Two of my latest additions to my collection are first, a 1993 "Godzilla" Nissan Skyline GTR in CALSONIC colours by Kyosho and a fairly recent version of the Skyline, the 2004 GTR in NISMO trim by Auto Art.
The Kyosho Skyline is far more detailed, better finished and heavier than the Auto Art GTR.
