Sir why dont you focus on Indian Car scene from 1920s to 1990s.

Good point. Would you know which shops or on-line sites cars made in India are available as scale models of decent to great quality.

Huge Collection of decent to great quality Mercedes scale model cars in Mysore , India !!

Autofest City at Mysore, has a very large collection of Mercedes-Benz scale models cars!

She's here! What a beauty.

Thanks for recommending Hobby Toys. Quality is good overall. I like the weight.

They don't have an F10 yet.

The latest Firebird from AutoWorld. The lines and paint job are great!

The engine and bonnet detailing is awesome.

The 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. The wheel and engine detailing is fantastic.

Note the grill details.

The rare Ford Mustang Mach 1 Ultra Red

For information, RC2 which manufactures these is owned by TOMY International which owns TomyTec ==> TLV :)

I have GreenLight versions of same models (not the same model year). Here are some pictures for comparison purposes. Even though these particular models do not have separate plastic lens pieces for headlights and tail-lights, but still they seem to have period correct details overall. And all these details in 1:64 scale!

Ford Galaxie 500 (1965) & Pontiac FireBird Trans Am (1977)

Gentlemen, have you ever purchased from an Indian on-line supplier named ModelArt? The web site is http://www.modelart.co.in/contact-us.html
Question - are they reliable? Has your experience been worthwhile. If the supplier is reliable I was thinking of ordering a model from Kyosho or Maisto from him. Thanks in advance for your help.

Sir they have a store in Select City Walk. Keep a meeting this side of town and hop in for a look. Its on the first floor right next to the entrance of PVR. I used to go to them frequently when they stocked AutoArt. Now i go only when i need a Kyosho model.

Regards
Rohan

I've been to their Bangalore store at Forum mall many years ago. I think I bought a Aston Martin Vantage made by Autoart.

Many thanks Rohan. I'll may drop in this weekend and do some retail therapy to soothe my frayed nerves. Why should only the fairer sex get retail therapy.
