I have GreenLight versions of same models .

Wow this brings back a lot of memories as I used to have a Pontiac Trans Am pullback toy as a kid but somehow managed to lose it. Saw this Greenlight version on Amazon for 11 K INR ! Wish there were reasonably priced ones available.

A few pictures of the Cadillac DTS 2000 Sedan

Hi 'jessie007', Awesome cars, yes HotWheels has been improving a little bit, that's the Ford Bronco from Ben Stiller's movie 'Zoolander' right?

yes, hot wheels has been coming up with lot of new models and re-colours of actual production vehicles, as compared to fantasy castings. Though I hate the few castings with plastic bodies and metal bases.

Yes, the Ford Bronco is from the movie Zoolander - the casting is released under GreenLight's Hollywood series. Though I haven't watched the movie.

I also have fond memories from childhood of Pontiac Tran Am that my cousin had - it was a Hot Wheels. I envied him a lot ;)

11k is crazy :Shockked:. Keep in mind that there are larger scale versions also from GreenLight.

Prices of premium 1/64 scale models is quite high nowadays. I remember purchasing majority of my GreenLights from dreamcarmodels for Rs 330 a piece. Now you can get GreenLights, Johnny Lightning, AutoWorld on scaleartsin, but again prices are in the Rs 600 to 800 range. I personally have set a limit for 1/64 scale at US$ 10 or approx Rs 650. Controlling myself not to go overboard.

Hi,
Some new arrivals in 1:200 and 1:400 Scale Aircraft and 1:64 Scale Cars. Showcase picture uploaded. In case individual pictures are required, kindly let me know.

Mesmerized by seeing such a beautiful painstaking collection. Request to do let us know from which supplier you ordered them. Will be helpful for me to order them from them as well, esp the air planes.

That’s a 1:100 scale Mercedes-Benz CLK Cabrio, and it is microscopic! For reference, that’s a 1:64 (SLR McLaren) and a 1:43 (Porsche 911 Turbo) on either side. And the best part, it is pretty well detailed for the scale!

Apparently, they gave these cars along with Georgia coffee in Japan lol:

I guess it is about 1.5 odd inches in length. So when are we going to Japan for coffee:) It would be nice if you could toss in some close ups.

Ha ha! Would love to :D. Unfortunately though, I don't think they offer these any more. I couldn't find much information on these on the web either.

I have seen almost every post on this thread and have not been as intrigued as this one. I just had to have one. While casually searching on eBay I came across this 1:100 Ferrari F40 Competizione by Kyosho.

It was from Japan and the seller shipped it exactly a day after I paid. The model costed me $5.72 and $2.06 for economy shipping without tracking. It was shipped on 19 April and I receive it today.

The model is super detailed and came in a cute little display case. It is diecast and also the car is screwed to the base plate.

Here's some pictures.

Wow! That's a superb find! Was the F40 all they had? The TDF Blue Ferraris in the micro brochure look tempting :D !

No Kyosho makes a huge variety of 1/100 scale models.

I actually did some background work regarding this and apparently this was also a handout at a chain of retail stores called Circle K Sunkus when you bought a specific drink.

This was handed out till about 2008 I think. They have a 5-7 model count per manufacturer in 3 different colors each. There is Ferrari, Lamborghini, Honda, Nissan Skyline series, Alfa Romeo, Mazda, Lotus, etc., Looks like collecting this will be my new goal. There are a few Japanese eBay sellers selling the entire series per manufacturer but it is expensive about $99 for entire Lamborghini series. Works out to about ₹336 per piece.

1/72 is the smallest scale I have in cars (other than 1/87 truck trailers by Siku). But 1/100 is unbelievable - Kyosho has done the unthinkable.

Though in 1/72, you get the important details like separate plastic lensed headlights, rubber tyres and decent detailing.

I even have a VW Beetle and a VW Transporter van in this scale - both again by Hongwell - just like the BMW Z8 Roadster which is my favourite.

Ford Mustang boss 302. Shut lines and paint quality on in this model is sub-par however looking at overall picture I feel is decent value for Money

Jaidev Sirjee, we need more photos of your favourite 6 aircrafts. Don't go back into the Himalayas.
