Guys, an old dinky car from the mid-1970s. Not quite in mint shape but could not resist sharing nevertheless with wet nostalgic eyes. Be generous with your praise. Problem with these new HD photos is that all the mess of 40+ years shows out! I bought this in December 1976 in Hazratganj, Lucknow.

Hey Guys,
Recently got hooked to diecast car collection after I got an opportunity to have a look at dear friends collection. Already loving the newly found interest. Started collecting 1:24 models. If anyone of you interested in sharing few models dues to space constraint or otherwise please let me know via pm :D
Sharing pic of new proud acquisitions.
Not actively collecting these days/ had pre-ordered this a while back. Comes with a proper display case
1:18 Porsche 911 Targa4S. Serial no 109/500.

Delicious. Which site/shop do you order from. I visited the Select City Walk place but sadly the shop has gone out of business.

Hi Sir, it is a page on facebook called carcollective online. Link below. I have been purchasing from him for the last few years. The prices are reasonable and is a genuinely good guy to deal with. Please PM me your number and i will put you in touch with him.

Hi,
Some new arrivals in 1:200 and 1:400 Scale Aircraft and 1:64 Scale Cars. Showcase picture uploaded. Incase individual pictures are required, kindly let me know. |
Brother, you have the best collection of scale model aircrafts on Team BHP and quite likely one of the 3 most prolific collections in India. Compliments to you. Your car collection is something to be proud of too. I would love to see close ups of the Antonov Mriya, the 707, DC-10, DC-8, IL-62, Osprey (I think I saw the rotors turned up) and any prop airliners. Could you post them on the Scale aircraft thread in case some birdies miss it by not visiting the scale auto thread. Many thanks.

Many thanks. |
Thanks a lot. I have uploaded pictures in the other thread.
Two recent additions...
A Rolls Royce Corniche 1:24 Franklin Mint
A Land Rover Mini-Champs 1:24
The car collection now has four pieces. I am keen to focus on 1:24 and look for models of the 1960s and earlier. The cars are now jostling for cabinet space with the aircrafts. In aircrafts I buy or make all sizes from 1:200 to 1:48 but as cars in reality have a shorter variation on length 1:24 looks good. I wonder if 1:43 can maintain the same quality of finish and detail.
