I knew it!!
Celtics should wrap it up now with 2 games still to go.
As i said earlier Lakers were lucky to have won the 3rd game especially the way they played that game.

It will be difficult to recover but with Lakers you can never predict anything.

Lakers Leading Celtics by 97 -93 with just 2:14 mins to go in Game5

Lakers are trying to save the series by trying to win this game and Celtics are on the verge of their 17th Ring and with just 2:14 mins to go LA leads Boston by 4 points (97-93) while i write this.

Lakers Win Game 5 to force a Game 6 and if possible a Game 7 @ Garden in Boston.

Kobe and Co displayed an aggressive 1st quarter by scoring 39 points to the Celtics 22 and though the Celtics rallied back in the 2nd quarter to score 30 points to the Lakers 16, LA made sure that the 3rd quarter resulted in them having an overall lead . This resulted in the Lakers winning the crucial game5 @ the staples center by 103 - 98 points.

Both the teams now head to Boston and Lakers have to play tremendously well to stop the Celtics from winning the Finals for the 17th time . Paul Pierce scored a game high 38 points for Boston, but it was not enough to keep LA @ bay and eventually Lakers won by just 5 points and certainly it was a great game. However Kobe scored only 25 points with Lamar Odom and Gasol chipping in as well.

Boston will make sure that they dont play a Game7 by packing the Lakers in Game6 @ the Garden and win the Finals .

I am also predicting Celtics win but with Lakers, you never know!

I saw the 2nd half game 5 and for Lakers it was too close for comfort.

Any idea about the live telecast of the match?

Celtics on the way to a glorious 17th NBA Championship

Celtics thrashed the LA Lakers with a whopping score of 131 - 91. This has been an exemplary display of the most high caliber basketball by the Celtics and they clinched the NBA Ring for the 17th time in their francise history.

Big Ticket KG, Paul Pierce,Rojon Rondo, Ray Alley, James Posey all scored double digits to thrash the Lakers by 40 points making it the most comprehensive win in the finals. Kobe and Co were left stranded by the Boston Boys who dominated all the 4 quarters in particular the 2nd,3rd and the final 4th quarter.

ESPN June 18 ,2:00 PM Game 6 Delayed telecast and on 19th June Repeat Telecast @ 11:00AM

Certainly Red Auerbach will be smiling from the skies to see Celtics back to winning ways.

EDITS: Score card as the game is approaching its death.

131-92 was the final score. LA almost pulled it out in the last five seconds....NOT!

Maybe the Pistons are not feeling so bad now. What a thrashing!

well...the way Lakers played this last match i dont think they deserved to be in final against Celtics.I saw the match and was very disappointed that final was so one-sided.

Anyway congrates to Celtics team especially KG and Allen for they deserved the NBA title.

KG let loose himself with his emotion post match and dint have words to describe it.
