Who are you in the traffic

i love it when i stop at a red light and some maniac horns like crazy from behind.its fun to see him go mad honking and flashing his lights...and when it turns green i zoom of before he can shift to 1st.

Definitely a conformist most of the time, though a maverick often post 2300 hrs. I never, ever break a signal in traffic. And like iraghava, the only rule I don't follow is that of speeding when I think it's safe...

Yup...as elf and iraghava said, the only rule I knowingly break is while speeding.

And I always wait for the signal to become green completely. People start honking even if there are 3-4 secs left on the timer. I just look back and glare at them. And before they can react, I am ffaaar away

I am a diehard comformist...once early in the morning i stopped in a signal when no traffic around....this made an indicab following me to slow down and maan, he was furious...looked at me as if he is going to bang my head and i just returned him with a smile....no words exchanged (infact he had nothing to say) but overtook me and moved on (still signal was red)..

I would love to be a conformist - I mean obey traffic rules. But sadly situation in Bangalore does allow only to go with the cluster of vehicles.

I'm very much a confirmist, unless I can't see the traffic light - generally due to some silly bus or truck obstructing the view.

I have voted for myself as "maverick" but I would say I am "pragmatic". I don't cut a red light just because traffic cops are not present -- there also has to be no traffic on the cross-road *and* some pressure from behind for me to cut a red light. I am not comfortable with this and would prefer to wait, but I don't enjoy getting honked at by a whole bunch of guys from behind, and buses inching very close to me. I am pragmatic in the sense that I follow the principle "when in Rome do as Romans do".

i m an die hard conformist and i have devised my own ways to remain one most of the times and also save my car from being banged from behind.

i use the palm beach road of Navi Mumbai everyday and there is one signal when we near vashi which many people jump. fortunately you can see the signal from a far distance whether it is green, yellow or red as the pole is put up at quite a height. if i know that i have to stop, i just roll down my window and show the slowing down signal as used in older days and thus giving an idea to those behind me that i m gonna stop.

the other day, i was as usual waiting at the signal when i saw in the RVM, a wagon r closing on to me to be in a little space that was unoccupied on my right. i thought he would stop but to my surprise he just coolly broke the signal and wnent off. but the best part was that before he could reach the next signal i had already caught up with him and overtook him from the left and left him gaping at the traffic ahead of him. he got what he deserved.
