Bob Woolmer - R.I.P - "Murdered" says Jamaica Police (pg 2)

Its confirmed..Bob woolmer is dead.He was found unconscious in his Hotel room in Kingston, Jamaica ; he died in The University Hospital, Kingston.

Maybe the shock of the defeat against Ireland proved too much for him.I know its no time to be flippant, but if things dont change soon,Greg Chappel might be heading the same way!

May Woolmer's soul rest in piece.

Absolutely devastating news. Its come as a shock as just yesterday we saw him sitting and watching the Pakistan team play.

He was a great thinker and innovator as a coach.

May his soul rest in peace and God give his family strength to bear the loss.

RIP Bob.

Very very sad news. I guess its not easy coaching/managing sub-continent teams. The forfeited match, Shoaib Akhtar controversy, the drug controversy.... all of this have taken a toll of the man.

No one from outside would be willing to coach Pak, India from the non sub-continental countries.

Really Sad..... The same man bought so much fame n changes to South African team in 99'......and the same man had to go though all this..... what i would say is ITS NOTS A COACH FAULT if the TEAM lost or Won...... its the 11 guys on the FIELD...and not any 1 particular guy....coaches are there to guide you and advise you .....not teach you the basics of the game........they are no god....they are just like us......

Miss You BOB..........

:((

RIP Woolmer. South Africa was my favourite team when he was the coach and they were pretty much the best team around.

I don't see why people include the whole subcontinent in the statement. Why is this equal equal between India/SL/BD and Pakistan? This is specifically related to the Pakistani team and its problems.

Apparently there was vomit around him. There is prolly something fishy here.

PS: Sorry if I sound rude or something but I never see the point why Indians are put into the same group as Pakistanis.

this has been really a sad news. He was not a personality who can commit suicide. I smell something fishy here.

With the current mess in Pakistan, the Pak media needed to be distracted.

Very sad day for cricket lovers. Terrific coach, Bob was.

I am pretty sure there is something behind this. He is not someone to take a defeat so badly. I do hope the Jamaican cops are clean & bring out the truth.
