This year was the least travelled in my calendar and for many others. So pictures are less but more memorable in my opinion for almost everyone. My stead and companion for 9 years now - the CBR 250R.



After a long isolation from the world, did one trip to Bannerghatta national park in July with few friends. The uniqueness of this trip was, for a 60 km distance from A to B, we chose a path that wasn't on Google maps and sometimes not even on Garmin and ended up doing 250 kms (A to B to A). Full off-roads (look at the CBR's chain guard), villages with no roads, fields, forest area.

I fell a couple of times, close call once. but all in all a fantastic experience.

Any thread which involves sharing pictures is always a delight. Of so many pictures clicked in 2020, two pictures signify the year gone by (if one can count it as a year that is) and summarises the entire period.

The first one signifies the endless possibilities that the world provides, no matter how bad it is, there will always be a morning after the darkness of the night. The sky in the picture made me see the brighter side of life this year and thankfully, I am always an optimist anyways.

The second picture signifies my love for the hills and which in turn defines me somewhat too. This picture was clicked at Loleygaon (a small hamlet near Kalimpong) and the place reminded me of a world free of any pandemic and the simplicity of people around which often gets corrupted in the humdrum of the cities. That the mighty Kanchenjunga was also glowing bright, added to the picture.


Here’s to a wonderful year ahead free of any glitch.

Not much usage due to the lockdown and no major trips other than regular drives. The only notable pick was below. The first drive after the lockdown restrictions were lifted, A small trip to a lake on the outskirts of Bangalore.

11 years old and still manages to make me grin ear to ear when putting it through it's paces! This car is proving really tough to find a replacement for.

This photo is the one for me as I picked this beauty up towards the end of this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed the month of escapades with the RE.
This pic is special because the INT 650 went on a drive with its stable mate (Polo GT in the background) for the first time.

Favourite with the Versys, once again from March. This was also special considering it was the last ride with BHPian ethanhunt123 (whose ride isn't in the below pic though, as he left post breakfast).



Favourite with the Xcent, from a trip in Jan to Rameshwaram. Special again because it was a long awaited drive with parents after years!
