Big thanks to VWAllstar for starting this thread series in 2019 (Best click of your car / bike in 2019!).

As he said, in this festive week, please post the BEST click of your car or bike from 2020 (must be 2020 only).

Significance of this picture : Our family's first weeklong road-trip after the crazy lockdown. For a family that thrives on road-trips & highway drives, going for one after so many months was exhilirating!

Nothing can quite match the pleasure of open-top cruising with this 24-year old buddy of mine. The picture is also a reminder of how charming Bombay is, on weekend mornings:

Why this picture? Because, on our road-trip, I tailed the Sunny almost all the way as I don't trust it anymore. The car is now 9-years old and just doesn't feel the same, after getting badly flood damaged in Bombay. I've decided this was the last highway drive of the Sunny:

The turn around to look at your car invariably ends up with me pulling out my phone and getting a shot of the car. Started driving this year and every ride has been special.

This one was from the first highway trip during lockdown we had to make to our farm!

Every drive is that much more fun when you throw a little rain into the mix!

There is a fun story behind it.
I was on WhatsApp with Rudra da.
I would take a picture and send it to him. He will ask me to change the angle a little. I would do that and it will repeat.
So there I was on a cold afternoon in Nepal wearing my riding gear and kneeling in soft grass and having a masterclass moment.

Did not quite travel a fair amount this year; but couldn’t resist some nearby drives during the monsoon. Here’s one during one such to Mulshi, near Pune.

Why this picture?
- This was taken in Jan, at the Annual OTR Bangalore, and the last time we had a fun gathering without the Social Distancing norms. Also, absolutely loved the Pajero's capability. Does stuff and climbs hills like anything!

Why this picture?
- Well, I've never been a Gypsy guy in my life and just 'happened' to own this beauty. However, started loving the car, only because of its high revving petrol and the nimbleness.
The location is also special. This is the first time, I went out for a trail drive after the lockdown.

Why this picture?
- Well, this Jeep has been a part of my life and off-roading scene since a decade now. It has been through different avatars, and this would be its last. It has probably seen the entire off-road scene change in the country through the last decade and this would be the limit which I can take the Jeep. A photo after the rebuild.

Attaching two of my favorite clicks of 2020. The first one is my Amaze AT parked at Amboli Ghat.

The second is my Santro's, who turned 15 this year. The car has lost it's charm and zippy nature and is going to be replaced soon.

Shot this at Maravanthe Beach in Karnataka, on my return trip from Mangalore. A much needed trip after being locked up for better part of the year, with clear & bright skies post the long monsoons and gloomy corona peaking months.

I was torn between pictures taken by the sea, by a river, at a hill top, by a dam reservoir or on the ghat roads, all trips made this year. I realised I loved the drive the most on the ghats and hence, that should be the winner!
