Loved the long drives to Vizag and also to far off villages around Vizag. the country is slowly opening post lockdown hence little traffic which should make for fun and covering large distance relatively faster. However the roads post Eluru were quite horrible with moon craters. The distance which should have been done in 6 to 7 hours took close to 9 hours. If this is with an SUV imagine with a sedan.

However here are few pics I love the most.

This picture defines my 2020. An impossible scene right within a 50 km radius of Mumbai city on an early morning ride to a near empty dam during the pandemic

Here are some couple of pictures from the archive, although usage has been reduced considerably. But still I take the Vento out for weekend drives.

Fortunately and inspite of the lockdowns, could do my share of road trips.

1) First picture is of the Innova from a drive we did post Diwali to Dharamsala and Palampur.

2) We did many day trips after the lockdown to Kasauli. Would start at 4am from home, reach Kasauli by 10am, walk the trails till evening and back home by 10pm. The second picture is of the Hiace from one such drive, where we stopped for breakfast at a dhaba near Chandigarh.

The best 2 clicks of my ride.

Picked up this beauty towards the beginning of March and spent the next few months just ogling at it in the garage. This was the first decent-sized ride on the honda and couldn't resist capturing it for posterity.


Got a few stickers on the bike and my rear numberplate flew off while on a ride from Bangalore to Chennai justifying the sticker.


PS, I wasn't driving that fast, I had a custom setup done for the numberplate on the tyre hugger and the screws came off while on the tide
