It'll be easier if you rather try to spot the driver!!

Has anyone tried the new McDonald's outlet that has opened recently? I hope it is better than the Marrybrown and Red E outlets.

mcdonalds is fine for its price. but if your a non vegetarian i think you would prefer the burgers from KFC.

agree:. I prefer KFC for the fried chicken and zinger burger. The fish fillet burger @ McDonalds is nice.

While we are talking about junk-food, ChicKing anyone ? We go there once in a while, though it is not as good as it was when they started out some years ago. Its on Sterling Road (opposite Ganpat hotel) - initially they were in the same complex as Aiwo - opposite Ispahani centre.

rl:
its getting more & more difficult these days.

China Town on Cathedral Road (opposite the Chola Sheraton) used to be good for authentic (without Indian masala) Chinese cuisine. They used to be where Zara is today and have now moved to a building behind the front of Hot Breads / Copper Chimney / Zara. The entrance is via a side road next to the luggage showroom (forget the name) beside Hot Breads.

Carnival Heights on Poonamalee High Road is unique for its revolving restaurant. The food is standard fare, nothing great, but the view of Chennai that one gets from the top as the entire restaurant slowly revolves is amazing.

^^ hrag, can u please tell me where "Hot Breads / Copper Chimney / Zara" are located ? I do not know about these places. I am interested in tasting the authentic Chinese food. If I remember right, Liu's Waldorf (near IIT) used to serve authentic Chinese cuisine in the early '90s. Nowadays, only some dishes seem to be so, while most have loads of Indian spices on them.

Right opposite Chola Sheraton. Take the road below the flyover (opp. chola) and its on the left. The tex-mex resto in that building (Don Pepe) serves awesome margarita's (non alcohoilc). The food is also pretty good.
