I go to this place very often after work. It's got a nice menu and the food is also good.

Ambience is very decent and fresh, best part is that it's not expensive at all. Very nice selections of tea and midnight biryani is edible allright. A-la carte is good but the breakfast is the best (served from 6:30 AM onwards)

Cafe Mocha will reopen in 15 days @ defence colony, right next to little italy.

Great place to have lunch in dlf:
Barbeque Nation

Hi guys just moved to delhi am looking for someone to supply food (Dinner)every day, i live in East of Kailash. Please Help.

Kailash Colony market is your saviour! There are lots of small restaurants there serving decent & reasonably priced food. My favourites used to be Relax, Saleem's, Kareem etc.

Also now there is a lot more choice with Al-Kauser open at the Pahari wala theka & there are quite a few good options in GK-II including one of the best places where I've ever eaten at, Culinaire.

All these places do free home delivery so that should also be more convenient to you. My suggestion, venture out into the market(s), try the restaurants out one at a time & then see what you like.

P.S. If you're looking for home cooked, tiffin type food, then sorry I have no idea about that!

I am sure there are plenty of option as iraghava ( Ishaan ) said in Kailash Colony.

In fact one of my all time favourites is the Maxim's Bakery & Anupama Sweets in the Market.

But there would be Home Dinner Deliveries. Just ask anyone in the market. Cheers !!!

thanks i agree that culinare is good, same for maxims.
breads and more is good at gk 1 n block,
Karrems is closed down i think.

Posting to this old thread.
What are the happening places in Delhi
1. Great crowd is a must. Elevate has suffered on this front now and is getting too crowded.
2. Good dance floor, and exclusive kind of place would be good

How are the new Opium, FTV bar etc.,

Try Ministry of Sound at Vasant Kunj.

It competes with Elevate on space, sound system, etc, but shuts down at midnight due to complaints by the RWA of the residential locality. I heard some news that is stays open now but not sure. Can someone confirm if MOS stays open beyond midnight now?

@ Khaadu: Yaar, yeh apni VK ki RWA ko kuch samjhao yaar. Hum log kahan jaayen?

I heard bad things about ministry of sound, i.e. the management is not very interested in upkeep and the parent organization is thing of revoking the franchisee.
There used to be something called Ghungroos in a 5 star hotel, is it still open under a new name?
Hows the place.

A friend has come from france and he wants to see the latest and greatest of Delhi nightlife.

We stopped pubbing after moving from blr, so havent got much idea.
Been to elevate a few times, but its at best a glorified marriage party.
The music is kaanta lagaa types and as for the crowd, the less said the better.
They also close the terrace section, which was supposedly the USP of Elevate.
I wonder if they will open the terrace this friday

That's because of this issue with the RWA. When a nightclub shuts down at midnight, what crowd can you expect? But I don't know what the current situation is.
