Went to Bar-B-Q Nation in Gurgaon 2 days back. Theek theek laga. Took the buffet, the starters were ok but the main course was simply not worth a penny.

Fakes are there but the pitampura and jasola one are BTW only, i have cross-confirmed with Rani Bagh's people only. Have seen there fakes in karol bagh, Delhi border (Sonipat one)
any one know of the afgani restraunt near the gurudwara in krishna market saw it on metronation / ndtv .. . seemed very interesting
BTW in jasola is awesome! Totally recommended
Went to Piccadelhi CP Last night for a family get-together. Though i wasn't keen so much of having food over there as my last food experience wasn't good. But surprisingly, yesterday food quality was amazingly good. Though had to wait a stiff 45 min.s, but seems the wait worked.
Cheers
Guys tried out "Blanco" in Khan Market this weekend. Neat place, tries very hard to copy Shalom but sadly falls very very short. All in all its a decent nice place with white interiors and accented blue lighting on the roof. Food menu was good, had their non veg Sushi platter, wasn't bad but there is better. Alcohol is priced at Rs.250 for Grey Goose / Absolut and I guess about Rs.275 for JW Black.
We had wine, Sula Merlot for 1200 a bottle.
Honestly, would never crave to go back there but I suggest you check it out atleast once for sure.
Dined at a great place last night - Wild Fire in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Gurgaon. I try an avoid eating at Hotels since the food is nothing great and is stupidly overpriced. But this is an exception for sure. It is a Brazilian speciality resturaunt - fixed menu. Tons of delicious meats on Rotisseries. Seafood is fantastic - I could never imagine eating Crayfish in India. A very extensive wine list as well. Service is very good. South American (Mostly Brazilian) Chefs serve you at the table. It is a touch on the pricey side - Meal for 2 with a glass of domestic beer is about 5K. But it is worth it once in a while.
Hmm.. Not much activity on this thread. What are Delhi guys doing ?? Come on, wake up, Give us some reviews of the latest eateries.
My Review on Cafe Morrisson ( South Ex ) -
Was here last Monday with a cousin, the day I brought my Verna :D
Good place, Interesting Music. I felt it was reasonable. Had around 10 Beers and an Arabic Platter - which was fantastic. Excellent Falafel & Humus ( whatever it is called ). Total Bill - 1700 ( After Discounts I think )
I went to an italian place called Flavors(near Moolchand).
Run buy a foreign couple and serves "Italian food".
Spent 1000rs for 2 people ate horrendous food. The service is even more pathetic.
But the place was packed. In Delhi people love to eat where things cost more, quality of food is secondry.
Flavors used to be the "in" thing a few years back, have had numerous lunches there. havent visited in a couple of years now so cant say about the food quality, but the pizzas used to be real good then.
Flavours still has the best spicy Pepperoni Pizza IMHO. The pastas are not very good but the grills are nice.
Overall I give the place a 3.5 out of 5.
One more Place I ate the other day, Had one of my best meals till date -
Pind Balluchi @ Great India Place, Noida -
Had been to the one in Gurgaon a few yrs back, never had the chance of going again. I was here last Friday with my wife & Sis and we decided to have Lunch here.
Ordered - Paneer Butter Masala, Tandoori Chicken Full & a Few Nans and Rotis, The food was simply excellent ( 9 / 10 I will give it !! ). Total Bill - 520 Rs ( Including Service Charge ) Sheer VFM.
Flavors quality has gone down a lot.. used to be great !!
