Hi guys,

Was going through the thread and saw people had mentioned Culinaire in GK2.
Not saying its a bad place, but think everyone should know of the experience I went through there.
Sat down, and out crawled from underneath the table cloth a tiny cockroach which I brushed off. Didnt pay too much attention.
A glass full of napkins is placed in front of me and my friend, out sneaks an unidentifiable insect which is pointed to the waiter who whisked away the glass almost instantly.
I ordered momos and it took them 30mins for them to get one plate of chicken steam momos. (Main course took even longer)
After the rats-eating-my-stomach-lining wait I jumped at the rather strange smelling momos and while having my second momo I noticed hair in one of the momos. I ignored it as I was tired of arguing with the guys.
Came the main course, three spoonfuls in of the fried rice and something else were two strands of hair.
That really put me off, end result being me paying for a meal I didnt have, sitting there an hour and heading back to work hungry.
So next time you order there, just screen the food on your table.
One off-days happen, so Im not criticising the place; just spreading some awareness.

I think you just took the exit interview of the head chef :p

Don't know if this has been posted before on this thread ...

Resturant Name : Punjabi Galiyarra
Location : Next to Papa Johns, Noida.
Food : North Indian, Muglai

Well its some what like desi vibes in noida, but the food is amazing. They can vary the salt and mirchi in the food according to your choice. The service is very nice too.

Yup food is good, but it can cause you claustrophobia due to lighting scheme and decor

Why did you pay for the food?

Well, when I walked upto the cashier desk ready to give hell to anyone I saw; there was an elderly gentleman, who I figured was the owner, who was really genuinely apologetic about what had happened. So that made me calm down and decided to get it over and done with.
But like I said, nothing against the place, just something that just shouldn't have happened.

No acitivity on this thread since Sep?

I am jealous to see similar threads of other cities being so active.

I am sure folks of Saadi Dilli are quite gastronomically active.

Visited Barbeque Nation at Gurgaon. Awesome finger-licking food. Must try!

Lunch costs approx Rs. 300 per head... Dinner costs approx Rs. 600 per head (even though the menu is same as in lunch)

Have been waiting to go there ever since my friend gave a very good feedback. Even checked their website also. There is one at Janakpuri too. Woof correct me if I am wrong, I think the rate differs between lunch and dinner as well as between weekdays and weekend.

Apart from the super club/lounge scene at Indi-Chine, the food there is MOUTH WATERING. Serve Chines, the ambiance is brilliant!

And they serve free beer in the lunch time....:)

Has anyone tried out the Tundey Kebab ( the famous Lucknow kebab that opened in Delhi for the first time). I was fortunate enough to have it just after a month of its opening.

It's located in New Friends Colony Market and their Tundey Kebabs ( actual name is Gelawati Kebab) is mouthwatering. I had 2 plates and took home 4 plates ( each plate consists of 4 round shaped kebabs) and each plate is JUST Rs.50 bucks:Shockked:

Their Shammi is also finger licking

It's a MUST try!!!
