If you didnt like the movie, such a long review. I don't know how long it would be you like a movie

Btw, you mean a VCD..right?
VDC is the new standard that replaces bluray and dvd, it has 1TB of storage space and ten times the resolution full hd video and 27.1 sound !!

I have seen 2001 a space odyssey and it is hopefully pointless

SORRY BHAI -

I went this afternoon with a few friends and wifey, I did not want to go but they dragged us and we went to watch this movie.

What a pleasant surprise !!

The movie is about a brother ( Shraman Joshi )who visits his brother ( Suri ) to Mauritius alongwith his parents ( Shabana & Boman ) for his wedding.

After a few days the girl and his future bro in law start falling in love. It's about this basically.
Flawless acting by all. The new girl is excellent and looks stunning in the movie.

Suri & Boman & Shraman are at their best.

It has light scenes with laughter and the story line is OK. All in all a good movie.

This one is made for metros only and not mass public.

The last scene is quite touching.

VERDICT - 3.5/5

I finally saw Slumdog Millionaire and really enjoyed it. I'm buying the DVD the day it comes out. Has an awesome soundtrack as well.

Watched "Be Kind Rewind" yesterday.

A very simple film for its age, its a story about a small neighbourhood in New Jersey that idolizes a 1920s Jazz player called "Fats Waller". The story centers around a videotape rental store, and its struggle to survive in the face of many adversities.

Mos Def plays the store manager, and Jack Black is his destructive friend. To make things even worse than they are, Jack Black manages to get himself magnetized and blanks every tape in the store. To save their necks, the couple decide to grab a handycam and shoot their own movies to fill in for the blanked tapes. What follows is a series of silly and amusing covers of "Ghostbusters", "Rush Hour 2" etc.

The movie is full of simple yet hilarious gags, and the finale is truly beautiful. I would definitely recommend watching it.

What equipment this new format plays on? Will it play on regular DVD players/PS3 or now do we go ahead and buy a new equipment for this new format?

Just reached home after watching Max Payne, I never played the game so maybe thats the reason I found it to be crappy. I did understand the stuff but somehow felt the storyline to be too kiddish??? I mean common, guys having a drug to drag them into hallucinations and winged angels and what not. Well if this is like whats in the game then Max Payne lovers will love it perhaps. But if you walk in with the faintest idea of the game and expecting some action, am sorry, its bleeding boring. the action sequences were nothing great to write about too. I should have watched Sorry Bhai in the adjacent multiplex instead. Max Payne is avoidable. If you are really bored like I was, forget the movie, head to a pub instead.

1/5 and the 1 was only for the cinematography (Did I spell that right?)...the bluish greenish tinge in the camera and theme. I loved the visual effects. And thats it, not a bit more than that. Oh and btw, I always hated Mark Wahlberg's acting. His previous The Happening was sore and this is on the similar grounds. Period.

Transporter 3 sucks!!!

Was there for the first day first show of Transporter3. I must admit that the movie is a disaster for car enthusiasts.

There is hardly any racing or spectacular driving.
They have thrown in some scenes for sake of making a car movie.

A woman in a drunken and bad Russian (Ukrainian) accent is the highlight of the movie.
If you plan to take your kids, then you might have to protect them from a 30 sec kissing scene with no passion.

Like Casino Royale, they wanted to portray that the Transporter is indeed human and is capable of romance.

Save your money for another movie!!
If you still watch it……..the saying…Curiosity kills the cat would be apt J
