God same i hated burn after reading. ATleast doesnt deserve a visit to the theatre for this.

Watched Dasvidaniya: Loved this movie which is about a guy who has a to do list of things to be done before he dies. Very well shot and the lead plays the same character as he played in bheja fry. Worth a watch.

Well also finished watching deshdrohi in 10 mins. The lesser i speak the better. The hero sleep walks and the background score in chase sequences are that of romantic songs. To top it all we got action sequences featuring gracy singh!! Christ the director seriously wanted the producer to go bankkrupt

Nine Months

A very old movie, i know, starring Hugh Grant. A story of how a dashing and successful young man is drawn into the joy of parenthood, but not before he almost loses out on the woman he loves. Quite a lot of experiences from the movie are quite identifiable, and although the storyline is quite predictable it offers its share of fun. Definitely worth a watch.

Possible, no one else could have produced that movie..

Saw dasvidanya this weekend, very well put together movie and superb acting once again by Vinay Phatak. The movie has its own moments and gets you inside the thought process of the person who is dying. Must watch.

Saw Oye lucky Lucky oye Somehow these kind of roles really suit Abhay Deol.
Liked the dialogues, typical one liners I could relate to (having used quite a few during college and school )

Paresh Rawal is good as usual.

All in all an entertaining movie. A good one time watch.

3.5/5

I saw the movie on the recommmendation of Gunbir, who was there too (we went with a few friends) and I don't blame im for thinking the movie was good. IMdB thought it was good. THe brothers have directed movies like "No Country for Old Men", "Fargo" and "The Big Lebowski" - though to tell you the truth we found that out later.

I love black comedy.

Somehow I thought this movie was amazingly bad for a stellar cast like that. It was dull and immemorable, except for a particular chair.

But clearly this is only my opinion (and the opinion of the entire group that went for the movie - there were 25 people in the cinema, we were 10 out of those), some BHPians have liked it, lol.
thanks a ton i saved 200 bucks . After righteous kill i try to resist falling for big star studded movies.

Oye Lucky Lucky Oye

It's an ok movie. Tells the story of Lucky a small time lower middle class sardarji from Delhi who grows up into a thief with a heart of gold. The movie is zingy in the first 30 minutes and then slows down a great deal.

Frankly after a while you are not bothered why these things are happening - the attention to characters and locations is top class and you can connect to the characters immediately - more so if you are from the north.

Abhay Deol is cool - playing Lucky with a calm charisma - rest of the cast is seasoned and perform as per expectations. For me the scene stealer was the young sardar who played Lucky in his younger days - superb performance.

Watch it if you have nothing to do.

Verdict 2.5/5
- Good but not anywhere near great.
