I have seen both movies on same day.

First i saw Om Shanti Om at that time i was little disappointed, It is over hyped movie but something different. Deepika is hot.

After that i saw Saawariya, Holy crap.. tottaly bakwass movie, tickets were easily available next day after its release.

After watching saawariya feel like om shanti om is far better than saawariya, Worth watch..

Deathproof - Directed by Tarentino. Has a nice car chase involving a 440 Charger with a girl strapped on the bonnet. Kurt Russel plays a stalker.

JAB WE MET

My Rating : 4/5

Nice n sweet, didnt drag along aimlessly too much except the end when Shahid begins contemplating. The humor was nice, and the movie kept rolling along at a leisurely pace.

Shahid has no USP as such, but he does the job well. Kareena was good as the bubbly damsel in the first half, but when she tries to act like a reformed gal, doesnt seem to suit the role.

Music was good, and had me humming the tracks on my way back from the theatre. Made sure i downloaded the tracks today.

Jab We Met = good timepass, pleasant movie. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad about it either except the end.

Om Shanti Om = OK except for the rather contrived storyline. The story is lousy and not even remotely plausible, but all the actors have done a good job.

That girl looks great. I dont know what her name is.

I agree completely. I don't know her name either. I've seen just the posters and the promos. And I think she was with SRK, watching the 20-20 final? Whoever she is, I'm her slave

Hey guys, she is Deepika Padukone, daughter of Prakash Padukone, the winnner of the coveted All England Open Badminton title in 1980.

Saw Om Shanti Om last night. Didn't enjoy the movie but the only consolation was vintage and classics used in the movie. You must have seen most of the cars used in the movie have been posted here like the Yellow and white Chevy Bel-Air, the green Dodge, a red dukkar, a Beetle and many many classics. I hardly understood the movie .

Saw Om Shanti Om yesterday. Nothing great about the movie. I felt I was watching Karz all over again. Some parts are funny but the rest is pretty boring. Lots of overacting. But yes Deepika is HOT. Shes done a good job and she will definately be going places.

Apart from these dont miss Spider Man with his F430 and Gauri Khan in her white Beemer 6 convertible during the ending credits. Dard E Disco remix playing in the background.

Saawariya - Nice movie but it's a pain to sit thru it. The main reason being the eerie blue light that the movie is shot in. Also add to it only 1 set that has been used for the movie.

Its a young love story and to shoot it in dark dull light and use only indoor sets is a very wrong thing to do. If the movie was shot brightly and in real locations - it would have worked big time.

The 2 youngsters making their debuts impress - Ranbir seems like doing a Hrithik act of Main Prem ki deewani hoon but soon settles down and gives a nice performance while Sonam Kapoor is rocking. She gets to play with a variety of emotions and she does it in style - she might not be hot like Deepika but acting wise, Sonam is leagues ahead of Deepika (debut movies only)

Sanjay Bhansali goofs up this movie big time.

Watch it once - but be warned its slow , its shot in blue dull light and no sunlight using a single set throughout the movie and the songs are great !!

Saw off all three movies over the last weekend: Jab we met, Sawariya and Om Shanti Om.

Best of the lot by far was Jab we met. Om Shanti Om was a distant second and Sawariya a close third. Egad! The two most hyped movies of the year and this is what they have to offer??

I'm happy with Deepika
