Sir, most people are pointing out that content is not 4K on Hotstar.
As you have pointed, content is that great too.
I am on ₹999 plan till August. Since I have time, I will take a call before that to continue or downgrade.


Money Heist Season 4 is now live

I just couldn't sit past the first part. God, it was seriously :Frustrati for me.

I loved the first two parts of money heist. Couldn't connect to the third one since they changed all the dubbing voices. If 4 is very good, I'll binge watch 3 and 4.

Caught up on Indian Webseries:

Special Ops: Contrary to popular belief, i thought this was one was poorly made. The agents and their backstories do not stike a cord at all. Only the scenes of Kay Kay, Vinay Pathak are very good. The whole series could have been cut short by few episodes. Many scenes I felt were too stretched.

Jumped on the TVF - discount codes and bought 20$ yearly pack and boy I am not disappointed. TVF makes the best shows in India. Hands down! Most of these shows i can say belong to 4.5 to 5/5 category. these are max 5 episode series.

Kota Factory: I think this must have been already reviewed..5/5. If you have seen it, you will never forget the character "Meena"

Cubicles: Simple, but yet touches your heart, the trials and tribulations of a fresher joining a new company. very well made!

Gullak: Amazingly done, simple stories yet makes me nostalgic! Pure class!

Yeh meri Family and Pitchers already has a cult following!

I would recommend the above to everyone

They have again changed voices in 4th and dubbing is not that engaging. 3rd was disappointing as compared to first two. I am watching 4th and it is in sync with 3rd. If anyone is watching don't miss the little cameo by KTM Adventure 790 ;)

I had seen Yeh meri Family season 1 on Netflix. Is the second season available on TVF?

It's the only show I have been able to watch with my parents. And they seemed to enjoy it as well.

My suggestion - Watch Gullak - 5-episodes/ 25 mins each, And Family friendly.

They will love it!

4th is on the similar lines of 3rd. The worst part, ends on a cliffhanger again and story will reach conclusion in next season. There was no point doing that. Seems producers are milking it as much as they can. Will still watch as I like finishing series once I start them. Will give 4th season 3/5.

What's the difference between 'VIP' and 'Premium' plan?

Here is the difference. VIP will have mostly hindi dubbed content compared to Premium. I think price will go up soon for premium.

Watched 'Panchayat' on Amazon Prime. Based on life in rural India. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It's created by TVF.

Guys, I am looking for BBC Top gear episodes with Jezza, May & Hammond. Is there any streaming service that has the old episodes? I saw some in prime earlier but they are gone now.

Nope. Not available anywhere on streaming in india. You'll have to look for other means. Prime had a couple of season ages ago, not any more.

When you say voices for dubbing, you mean for english audio, right?

I have said this before, will repeat myself, these Spanish series are best enjoyed with original audio+english subtitle combo. I havn't watched even a single episode of Money Heist or Narcos for that matter in English. Dubbed audio just takes away from the feel of screenplay.
