CSI.. Used to come on AXn... I think rks also would like it....

As a kid I used to wait up every sunday for Star Trek!

And so many more. Sadly modern TV just sucks, so I gave up 4 years ago.

Does anyone remember Fireball XL5? My all time favourite as a boy. I am looking for the episodes. I have the title track, if there are any old fans of Fireball XL5

I wish I was a spaceman,
the fastest guy alive
I'd fly you round the universe.
In my fireball xl5.

Way out in space together.
Conquerors of the sky.
My heart would be a fireball.
A fireball.

Every time I gaze into your starry eyes.

If there are any more Fireball fans, please email me I will send you the above theme song. I can never forget Zoonie and his "follow me..."

anyone remember this animation series called 'Thundersub' when Star TV had just come in more than a decade and a half back?

Good thread, Rahul. And Friends is your fav serial ? Figures.

I still maintain that current American "comedy" serials are more bufoonery than true wit. This is where I miss the old British comedies. My fav in no particular order:

1. 'Allo 'Allo
2. Mind your Language
3. Yes Minister/PM
4. Fawlty Towers
5. Goodness Gracious Me

The only current comedies I liked: Scrubs and Sienfeld. And I'm a die-hard Star Trek: The Next Generation fan.

Even Jay Leno has become too predictable in the interests of commercialism - pity

Here is mine:

1. Home Improvement (anyone familiar with tim the tool man taylor?)

2. Friends

3. Sex & the city

4. Newhart (Old school but great series on life managing an Inn)

5. Tonight show - Jay Leno

6. Nat Geo Investigates

VERY old.

Absolutely Loved PINKS. Those drag challenges were excellent. Something I really miss after leaving Canada.

All time favorites has to be " the Three stooges." Just love the three of em.

Others favorites are Seinfield, Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends, Crystal Maze(childhood favouraite) and streethawk.

Other shows I watched as a Kid were I dream of genie, Dennis the Menace and Small wonder.

Black Adder : Hillarious Sarcastic British Humour with some awesome performances by Rowan Atkinson. Anyone who's seen the series will know the funny Bouldrick:) Rated one of the greatest British televison series ever.

Family Guy : Animated Series making fun of almost anything and everything and full of spoofs, Very funny.

Lost : The first season was kickass, in between it slowed down but the last few episodes of the 3rd season were good.

Prison Break : Very well made and addictive, the last few eps of the 1st season were too good.

Heroes : To some it might look like a big hotch potch, but it's very creative and well directed, did not like how the 1t season ended however.

Sleeper Cell : On US counter terrorism, a Sleeper Agent's story from the FBI who joins an Extremist Al Qaeda group intending to spell disaster in the US.
