It isn't so uncommon. Almost every year has one. In fact there are 2 Friday 13ths in 2009.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today is Friday the 13th.

Considered terribly unlucky by some. To me, it's just another day. But I know of some people that will do some strange things today.

More can be studied here.

Why don't you tell us the significance of Friday the 13th in your life? Whether it is feared, ignored or avoided? Any special significance, any phobias, anything that you would do (or not do) on this day.
IMO, Friday the 13th is just a normal day unless spoken of!!! Way to go Sam

And I was going to set fire to all branches of SBI in India. Postponed, after reading this thread. Good things should be done on auspicious days !

This is an unlucky day!
I had a quiz in my math class! lol!
but on a more serious note, it can be either lucky or unlucky depending on what you choose to see.

Well, I did not know about this thing until I saw this thread!

Anyways, it doesn't matter. It's just another day.

Well a really funny thing happened yesterday. Dint know where to post it but this seems like an apt place.
I was driving back home from the gym and a cop asked me to pull over i said no, now the funny part; he said ok go . (I misplaced my DL a couple of days back)
I guess it was a lucky day for me.

For a friend though it was a different story. A lorry hit his octy's right front door and there was a really huge dent and the orvm broke too. Luckily the lorry owner agreed to bear all he expenses.

Then it must surely be one of those ghosts of Fri 13th trying to pull your tooth out of the mouth

I have a weird feeling that the cop has noted your reg number and a ticket is on the way to your home.

That info will be there in the ticket

Just kidding. I have never seen a cop let go someone who simply doesn't pullover when asked. On that pretext i assume he might send you a ticket for whatever he thinks. But hope the ghost of 13th doesn't come back to haunt you

For me it was an absolutely normal day. But I know of some Team-BHPians who have lost memories of what they did yesterday.
